It is good listening to him when he talks, plays guitar or sings. Good man, nice person, great artist.
To me, MK is the most virtuous musician of all time. The chords and solos made by MK express heart and soul. His music does not issue an ordinary sound, his composition sound like souls voice and heart beat, is incredible.
You can close your eyes and see the history, you can feel passion, hapnes, sadnes, love and angry through his music
The joy this man has spread around the world can never be measured. Simply the best.

This MAESTRO makes the guitar sing , talk and cry---I've never ever had enough enjoying his music since i've listened to tunnel of love when i wad 16 and i'm 53 now . And i still complain of a problem with his songs ; they end .

I saw Mark at Lanxess Arena in Cologne two days ago. He played Romeo and Juliet, and it just broke my heart. So emotional. I discovered his songs when I was fourteen (maybe six years ago). It was the first thing I ever really listened to, and I will never stop loving these songs. They were there when I was going through tough times, when I was ill, when I moved into another city, when relationships ended, when I met new friends.
I hope he keeps writing new songs, and never stops trying to write the best he can.

I had a Neighbour who was an Alcoholic and he would play Dire Straits loud at Random times of the day 😅😅 Loved his taste in music right enough

My name is Thomas and your music has helped me a lot over the years. It has helped me in hard times as well as in good times. Your music makes my life. Cant imagine how life must have been without it. It eases my pains and it saves my soul from evil. I will always be thankfull to you for that. And as weird as it may sound.. you have a place in my heart.
I've been following Mark since I was 15, when I discovered Dire Straits back in 1985. I was in high school in Badalona, my hometown, and a partner brought a copy of Brothers. His music has since accompanied me, so it's an important part of my life, a true gift for me. So thank you very much, Mark.
Such a deep thinker as well as an unparalleled genius both songwriter and guitarist in my view whilst staying so very humble. His ego has never got in the way of his art.

I love all his work , his chords is filled with a lots of things from all our life .
And even it have some text , who have a lots to do with his own life in Scotland, and England ,

Mark was the reason why I bought a Squier Stratocaster in red and white for my 15'th birthday back in 1991. I still have that guitar.
More recently I decided to go back to playing Stratocaster and own five at the moment, the old Red one is retired but I do take it off the wall for a strum every so now and then.
Thankyou Mark for sharing this glimpse of life. Through trial's and tribulations, history memories of one simple man can help many. I see it everyday personally your music helped me stay sane in such a insane hurtful world . so carry on one song at a time 👏☀🌈😊
