My biggest takeaway is Steve's realization it was NOT the big decisions or inspirations that were most responsible for his success. It was the little daily habits and rituals that compounded over time. I've heard this over and over from people like James Clear but for some reason it really resonated with me this time and left me feeling empowered, like I AM on the right track!
I've heard it said that inspiration is like a fart in the face. It hits you right between the eyes and grabs all of your attention.....but it actually fades away rather quickly! :)

I don't believe it. It is outcome focused...it is the process that counts. But, like all of those sayings, it's another nice one because it reminds me to forget whats done is done and what you do now moving forward is what it is all about. I honestly don't think people want to know the ending - what will be, will be.

People like to stay in the same spot because it's comfortable. When he talks about his childhood friend that he's still in the same spot and he went somewhere, Steve got uncomfortable and grew, where his friend stayed comfortable and didn't grow.
It's good to get uncomfortable, that's usually where the growth happens.

I've suggested things he can possibly grow on with the talents he has, etc and all he can do is denigrate what ever Ive been trying to do online...got to get rid of that anger and release.Good to hear someone else picked up on that part of the interview.

What a super guy - wise and friendly and introspective. The best thing he said what "I was wrong about everything" - the capacity to reflect on the situation and change what you think in order to achieve your goals is the foundation of success. Most people can't stand to be wrong and, as a result, continue with what is wrong until it harms them.

Im not just blowing smoke up your arse when I say, changes have been made and are being made. Framework is now grown by one element. Last night it was get out of bed within 10 minutes of waking, and score oneself on what was achieved (or not) that day. One last takeaway from Steven (and Ive bought the book which could be another framework element ie reading books) is that even though Steven said yesterday is just one more step than today, and turngin it around i.e. Today is just one more step forward is EXTEREMEMLY powerful.
Thanks for being here and sharing what you do. And thanks to Noah and hug thanks to Steven Keep keeepiing on JJ

    Best Moments
I used to think Chaos was Chaos, Stability was Stability.
Now I think chaos is stability, and stability can be chaos.
Studying Michael Phelps- he achieved all these medals- I came to learn stability is chaos.
I now prioritize chaos in the form of challenges 15:15
Moments where I have been building 16:45 and striving- this is when I have been most stable. I look for chaos, challenges I find fulfilling.
They say best way to lift yourself up is 17:30 is to reach down and pull someone else up.
    Comfort is a short-term friend but also a long-term enemy 33:10
    Quitting is a skill 34:00
45:40 Nice compliment from Steve to Tom- you've guided me without agenda

18:24 - I think that seeing your goal come true is anti-climatic, because for a moment, you don't have a purpose. Seemingly it takes a while for the drive and enthusiasm to return after an achievement.

Damn, 16 chips a day really spoke to me. I always said that billionaires have the same 24 hours a day as you, they just make different choices and they have made different choices long before that. This sums it up in a great visual way. If you have ever played roulette you know you can put all on one number for bigger payoff bigger risk or share among 2 numbers or split among 4. Time is similar. But between rounds you try different configurations
