The real mafia is the Underworld. The main gang is D-Company. Dawood and gang mainly from Mumbai had connections everywhere, cricket boards, politicians and businessmen. Thats why we could see Dawood at cricket matches in Sharjah. Since terror charges after 1992 bombings in Mumbai, Indian government decided to have a crackdown on them and since then they mainly have patronage of Pakistan ISI and mainly operate from UAE and around, even some places in Pakistan like Karachi. Illegal betting market is huge and thats why there is a lot of money at stake so they try to manipulate the results of cricket matches in their favour. There are other powerful elements as well but these are the people who threaten to kill cricketers if they don't comply. They used to have connections in Bollywood as well and used to threaten people who don't comply with their requirements. Their influence has reduced drastically in India but I m sure it hasn't ended yet. There are other gangs as well but D-Company was the one which was most powerful at the starting.

Ab match fixing nahi hoti, ab spot fixing hoti, players ko paisey dey kar no ball karne ko kha jata hai aur satta bhi oss per he lagta hai, kay player koun say over ki ball no ball karaye ga, player no ball karane say pehlay stadium mein he bethay bookie ko bina dekhay, bina haat hilaye ishara bhi deta hai jo pehlay say fix hota hai, jessay paseena poochna, gloves change karna, jooto kay tasmay bandna etc.
THIS IS HOW EVEN ONE PLAYER CAN FIX A MATCH
1. Drop catches
2. Do intentional misfielding
3. Play slow and waste balls. This way pressure will be built on the other batsmen and he would play shots to maintain/increase the run rate and thus get out quickly
4. Intentionally run slower or cause other batsman to run out. This can work without any problem
5 or 6 in the team are required to fix a match, it’s been said by former players. One would imagine, even a player can cause significant tilt in the result

Let’s go back and watch Salim Malik’s batting during 1992 World Cup. He was INTENTIONALLY playing slow to give the matches away. IMRAN realized /suspected fowl play and DECIDED to play ONE DOWN in both the semifinal and the final game and thus Malik failed

Good video and I have read the qayyum report so this is all factual. I really hope that Imran Khan will bring Wasim Akram and co to justice. This thing has been going on for too long. What I don’t understand is why Imran Khan who is a great and honest man , does not speak out against Akram
With the current responsibilities our PM has, it is a good excuse to sway from this topic. I’m sure he doesn’t want to cause embarrassment to Pakistan either now years later. I hope he does look into Match Fixing though since it is an issue that still remains.
Doosra View agree that there are more pressing issues at the moment. But over the past years I am sure he has become aware of the murkiness going on in the team after he retired after the 92 wc, he was a witness in the qayyum inquiry after all.
