Firstly I like that you listen to the whole song before reacting but mainly I like that you realizes the BEATLES are telling us all we are Rich.

This quirky little number, effectively the B-side of All You Need Is Love, is an absolute banger & highly underrated

Precisely! Love Paul's bass and John's lyrics.

Don’t Let Me Down was a B side too - I remember being totally blown away it’s one of their all-time most beautiful tracks and I couldn’t understand why no one talked about it 😉

John Lennon is playing the clavioline (an early synthesizer). It was the instrument on "Telstar" by The Tornados.

I don't know why but it always surprises me how people can have never heard songs which I grew up with. This was always one of my favourite Beatles tracks, I guess I'm just an old hippy! "Tuned to a natural E: Happy to be that way: Now that you've found another key: What are you going to play" what DOES that mean? lol. Thanks for the memories.

Great reaction video…to a Beatles Classic. This is also one of my all-time favorites from the Beatles. I am telling my age here but I still have this single from when it was given to me(new) at the time it was released. Unfortunately, my brother and I would throw away the picture sleeves back then! They now have some value when in good condition. I wore this 45 rpm single out on a small portable record player back in the day. I can tell you first hand, that was a special time to those of us who loved music.

Not that well known, but a very interesting song! Another deep cut worth a listen is Cry baby cry, one of Lennon’s most Lewis Carroll influenced lyrics, a great song!

Some of Paul McCartney's chunkier beefier bass lines, just makes this one. John Lennon's vocals cap this one beautifully.

The baseline is so amazing in this song. Magical Mystery Tour has some great songs on it.

The first Beatles song I ever heard. Born 3/22/1963 I knew and liked the Monkees but when my sister got this single, flip side of All You need is Love, It was my first exposure to the Beatles. As a five- or six-year-old child I can freely admit that this was my first spiritual experience. It ranks #3 of my list (#1Hey Jude #2 Dear Prudence)

Easily one of my favorite songs, I think this is probably THE "Beatles" song - it epitomizes everything about them. Great song/vocals/bass + the singular "odd" instrument all add up to who/what they were. The line about keeping your money inside the bank/zoo refers to financial set-ups to help them keep their money from being taken in taxes - which at the time was (I believe) 90% on their earnings.

Listen to the other side, All You Need Is Love. At a time when record companies would put the potential 'hit' on one side and a throw-away song on "Side B", the Beatles put great songs on both sides because it was value for the fans' money. Another first.

John had a song that was incomplete, and Paul had the idea of the chorus. It was a true Lennon-McCartney compilation. Very underrated song.

A really hard one to find is called ""The Silver Beatles," which is a compilation of incredible early songs. It's a double record set in a silver cover.

Maybe you know this by now, but, they wrote this sonf for their manager, Brian Epstein. The original words a bit more racy.

Very funky, World Music groove, waaaayyy, WAYYYY ahead of the song's time (1967), which is how the Beatles roll. The PHAT bass and chunky, scratchy guitars, tha' On-That-One drums anticipate the great art funk-rockers Chic and His Purple Majesty Prince's Afro-Delic Rawk by at least a decade. To be fair, Chic and His Princeness were literally in grade school when the Beatles were going Baby You're A Rich Man. But HEY! The only cats doing this type World Music groove back in 1967 were culture club Oakland's Sly and the Family Stone -- who wouldn't break out internationally until the year later, and of course George Clinton and his crewe.
But, then, again, I think the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix (Prince's older bro') hitched a ride on Clinton's Muthaship when George and Bootsy decided to visit planet Earth. You KNOW that with cats this far beyond the curve that they could not possibly have come from "Seattle," the "Midwest," and "Liverpool": we're tawken' other galaxy, far, far away...
But that certified fact aside, the Beatles deliver on tha' groove, and those lyrics! What a fantastic send-up of the clueless wealthy, the feckless nouveau riche--and their own young selves!
