Who doesn't like the Beatles, my 17 year old boy idolises them..
I'm not a big fan fan of the Beatles but this song from childhood to today is one of few that I always love.
This song is in my Top 5. I’ve always been obsessed with it. Just perfection. Speaking of The Beatles songs in commercials, they were and are against it. You can thank your boy Michael Jackson for that (he bought their catalog) 😏
In 2018 Paul was able to win back 32 of their earlier songs, those that he had penned. When they released their catalog on CD they released the British versions of the LP's while Michael Jackson owned the American LP releases of the music.

Fun reaction! This is one of my favorite Beatles songs.
This song addresses The Beatles evolution (good-bye) from the Mop Top image to their later (hello) image, as well as their message of love (aloha). A lot of fans were not happy w/the Sgt. Pepper/psychedelic era and wanted the "old" Beatles back. As you said, there is a different sound in their music from the early days. Ringo's drum set changes size in the video.
I had a feeling that was the case but I wasn't sure, I didn't notice that about the drum set too
The part of the video of them in the suits waving is them saying goodbye to the Fab Four image. Also, Paul sings his ass off. Well said about the difference between their earlier work versus their later work.
