Yo Brent, appreciate you man being so kind and respectful towards filipinos! Not to mention giving and treating the right ones without judging nor causing any kids scene. We continue to watch your adventures in PH, peace out thanks man!👍✌

I don't claim to be a professional fortune teller, but I predict that you are about to visit the Mosques and get to know the Muslims in my country. Try visiting Bacolod as well perchance! 🙂
Thank you Brent for visiting the Philippines, I am a Filipino but living now in New York, I have never been to Tondo but you are amazing visiting that place.
pagbalik mo dito sa Pinas, subukan mo pumunta sa Tondo, di ako taga Tondo but I've also been there with some couple of friends and classmates back when i was younger
Hey Brent, I live in this place haha, nice for showing this, although it’s true there are a lot of kids asking for money, and it’s tiring and sad to turn them away, but we locals get them too. Just be careful with your stuff, as you say, they’re just kids and it’s very common here. But in general, people here are quite friendly and bold, they are down to earth and simple. Enjoy your time.
Hey bro studied and grew up in Phil.dont know about this place. So Glad that my fellow phils trreating my fellow americans well. Mabuhay PhilAm brotherhood.❤
Hi Brent I met you in BKK Thailand this year during Songkran. You’re now in the Philippines my country. You should visit Boracay, Siargao and Palawan our world class beaches.
When in Manila interesting places are: Intramuros, Binondo, Pasig River Esplanade at Night, National Museum, Luneta Park, Manila Ocean Park, Dolomite Beach, Manila Hotel, and Malate Manila ( Red Light District ). However, if you are a bit sensitive, then you can find some of the more tourist gastronomic districts like Poblacion in Makati, Food Night Market in Greenfields in Mandaluyong City, and weekends banchetto & Market Market in BGC. Again for Manila, I prefer Binondo street food and authentic Chinese & Filipino restaurants that are affordable. Popular staple Filipino foods are: Sisig, Pares, Pancit, Adobo, Palabok, Sinigang, Puto or Rice Cake, Ube Halaya, Halo Halo, Lechon Mano, Lechon baboy, Kare Kare. Sorry for those who do not mind how they serve their food so be careful eating street food too. Like not wearing hand gloves or not washing their stuff properly.
Just always remember idol brenntimm, most all of us Pinoy's is God fearing people & always smiling even we have big or small problems in our lives, Philippines will be the next new Israel in this world coming very near future according to the Bible, take care & thanks so much for your kindness & showing your love to my fellow kababayan Pinoy's,God bless you & always stay safe in all your travels.🎉🇵🇭🙏💯🥰🌎
Your street food vlog is amazing and I appreciate how you connect with Filipino people. In the Philippines, where Catholicism is prevalent, every Filipino household has an image of Jesus Christ that they love and adore. Your appearance reminds them of you. Thank you for visiting P.I. I hope you will come back.
❤thankz brint love u visit 🎉 Tondo area reinvented😢but soo sorry about those kidz 😮 ohh jesus 🎉keep on very generous to in ur heart, winning them are counted by the almighty ❤❤❤ shout-out from negros island 🙏🏝️
Just came across your video on UA-cam. You Rock Dude! Love your video! I've been to the Philippines 2 times, Manila and Angeles City. Awesome people. Enjoy. Go to Dumaguette, it has a lot of Expats
Filipino culture has a lot of influence from other cultures, foods, buildings, way of living, etc. If you're looking for a filipino food, try looking for ulam(side dishes), Filipino usually eat with rice and a side dish
Check out the QUIAPO STREET FOOD scene. Many authentic Filipino dishes and no kids will bother you because it's a commercial district, not residential. Try it and compare to your Tondo experience. Actually I'd love to check it out myself when I visit the Philippines. I recommend Quiapo based on what my friends said about it plus the UA-cam videos I've seen. Enjoy the Philippines. I miss it, left in 1974 for the US. Stay safe.
While in Manila, you can try beef pares and tokwa't baboy. When you go to cebu, try larsian, lechon, sutokil and tuslob buwa, all authentic filipino food. When in Baguio you can try the sizzling pork chop in a restaurant called sizzling plate and their sanzrival for desert. 😊
You got a banger of a video dude! props to you and I do hope that you make The Philippines your second home, life is easier and much cheaper here compared to the U.S and the kids of Manila are gpnna make your day worth it. just be cautious of people who'll take advantage of you.
ohhh man. you're like the messiah of street food. dont get me wrong. Your vlogs doin great! Unlike any other.. Not boring at all. Keep it up! Explore and enjoy thre rest of the Philippines
Food markets in the philippines are not necessarily filipino food. It's different cuisines and good stuff, mostly those that are recently trending on social media, although you can find a few filipino street food there. The ones that you had were balut, cheesy corn, siomai, garlic peanuts, then grilled or fried skewers - these are what you can consider filipino street food. It's quite easy finding street food, don't need to go to a specific place, just walk the streets, try walking near schools and churches, and as long as you see a bunch of locals gathering around a small food cart, that's it. The more locals, the better.
@@BrentTimm recommended places to visit to try their food is Pampanga and Bicol Pampanga is the culinary capital of the PH. Pampanga cooks are known to have good palate. This is where Sisig originated from. Bicol is known for it's spicy food. They often mix spicy with coconut milk which is a good combination. Chili ice cream is a delicacy there.
Never seen so many kids running around on the streets. They look clean, healthy & not malnourished though. It's baby making country & don't believe in contraceptives.
The food prepared in liquid nitrogen and the vapor effect are both completely safe, but without the knowledge of safe handling practices, accidental ingestion or mishandling of a snack made in liquid nitrogen could cause injuries or trauma, such as serious as bowel perforation or asphyxiation due to the extreme cold.

glad you're enjoying your stay. forgive the aggressive kids begging for money. i don't think they meant to be pushy and aggressive. they are so poor to learn to be proper - they're learning capacity if preoccupied with how to feed themselves and family.
I am from Manila and we handle our food well whether made at home or in the street so getting food poisoning is 1% to none. Mostly if there was food poisoning that is if food was cook in the evening then you serve it the morning and you dont allow that to cool down that is the only time might get food poisoning.
