We just got back!!! If your walking make sure you have the feet for it!! LOL With using the Metro we were doing over 15K steps on our fitbits per day! didn't gain a pound which was great! The bikes and scooters, I think you need to know the city pretty good because google maps can take a while to register your position, even walking so you go in the wrong direction a lot and most streets are like 5-6 point intersections unlike the USA where it's easy to pick a direction we only have 4.. Getting lost can be fun also because everything in Paris is interesting!!! Ya can't lose.. A suggestion for another video Les Frenchies Hotels with balconies you can sit on!! We stayed in the Jewish/gay quarter but the balconie was useless.. Next trip we want a balcony we can just sit on for hours... Great video Thank you!

On foot is my favorite way to see Paris, but I just signed up for a motorcycle sidecar tour. Inspired by an article in Washington Post today, I decided not to dither and reserved the afternoon slot on what will be my last day in Paris next month. Something to be excited about as my visit winds down.

I went to Paris when trains striked, I didn't know this in advance so there were limited services and had to get an Uber from Stade de France to my hotel when going from the airport and had to walk everywhere. At least I got a lot of steps in but my feet were very tired and definitely will have to come back and relax a bit more to appreciate the beautiful city.

I always rent a Lime bike when in Paris. I tried the scooter once, but didn't enjoy it as much. Funny story, after visiting someone at the Intercontinental Le Grande one night, we wanted to take the long way back to our hotel, with a stop in Montmartre, but we got outside the geofencing area for the scooter and ended up pushing the darn things for over a kilometer. Never again.

Went to Paris for 1st time this august . I couldn’t for the life of me hack the metro , but I managed to get around on the buses using Citymapper. I did jump on the rer to Disneyland and Versailles. I also jumped on 86 and 69 as well lol
I plan to visit Paris again for 2nd time in 2023 for a week ,get my navigo card , and hopefully I will understand the metro . I rented a scooter 🛴, it was amazing 🤩 love it .
You said you can buy tickets on the bus, but from what I saw you needed to have a navigo card , ticket would print the ticket, once you tap the reader . So if I jump on another bus , I wouldn’t need to tap the card but push my paper ticket in the reader
If you guys could do a video , on taping the navigo on the bus , I know I’ve been to Paris , should understand this , lol
I really went to do something on the Seine river , I regret not doing that

My favorite way is bus. You can enjoy scenery and it saves you from walking a lot of stairs like in the metro. But the bus service is often very unreliable on weekends. The service can be terminated any time without prior warning...or some bus stops will be not in service. It can be very frustrating.

On the subject of Uber, I often find the driver will add extras to to bill like waiting or pet fee, even when they don't apply, but I always check and if they do bill be extras, I get Uber to remove the charge. Also, they try to stick you for a luggage fee but only want cash payment. I always report those Uber drivers.

Much appreciated your video, but I found Paris was stuck in time far as technology and it 19 century building infrastructure, I expect it to be more modern, it felt outdated, my opinion as far as the metro system easy to navigate but to outdated compared to other countries, I also found Paris to be poor I learned that the minimum wage is $1,110 a month and the government does not let you have a second job because you will be taxed an extra 25% on that income. As you can see when I travel not only i enjoy my vacation i also socialize with the local and gather Intel to learn how things work. In conclusion it's a once and a lifetime experience but no repeat for me. Thks
