Such a gorgeous melody and arrangement. Loved it the first time I heard it, and the lyrics... It's a song that should sadden me thinking about lost times and friends, and yet it's so uplifting. Just the magic of good music, I suppose.
Seen them live a few times. Best was at Stirling Castle 1998. Wrapped up the set with the best version of Day Tripper I've ever heard. They had a totally unique style all of there own. Whilst other Brit Pop era bands revolved around a similar scene to each other, except perhaps Oasis and 1 or 2 others that went on to become mega bands, OCS always stood out me. They weren't just playing up to the mod revival that helped other Indie Brit Pop, they legitimately stood out and were able to build a fan base across the generation gap and not rely solely on teenagers like me at the time. In the 90s I wish I could've went back in time to experience the 60s but man we were lucky in the 90s and I think I'd have to toss a coin between then and the 60s to decide.
Saw them in LA back in the 00s. Such a great show. Saw Weller same year. Then Oasis and Kasabian at the Hollywood Bowl. Such great memories. I still listen to OCS and wish they’d record a new album. Something up there with Moseley and Seasides & Freerides. The two albums I listen to most. The mark of a great band is having a comp of B-Sides be so great. Hello Monday is my all time fave OCS song and that too was a B-Side. Such a quality band.
Absolute love this tune from the massively underrated OCS and this video is amazing, no idea why they are not bigger than Oasis it blows my mind as they have been so consistently great over the years and Simon’s voice just gets better and more powerful with age 🤩😎😎🤯
My uncle just died he was the biggest fan he was actually pals with Oscar I remember he used to play this on his guitar I will miss you so much lamb rest in peace legend
Oasis and blur was the question. OCS was the answer. But, I also think I add the Verve and the Charlatans into the equation. Taught by Professor Paul Weller.
La Modelo era una Chica de Fuenlabrada se Llama Silvia la traje a Marbella y aqui la eligieron en un Casting para rodar el video en Almeria ...Hace como mas de 15 años 😉😅😉🙂
26k views :o absolutely mental compared to others. OCS needs a new manager. I realise youtube is not everything bit not creating exposure on here will never bring new fans. You have kids bore in the 2000's that are oasis fans... Why cant it be the same for OCS. They are just as good as the comparison like verve, radiohead if not better so it is quite shocking really.
Was my young bros fav tune.. Rest in peace steven.. Miss ya x..
The greatest band ever to come out of the indie scene vastly underrated, best live band I've ever seen. Ocs ktf
Not underrated friend, just kept away from mainstream
Definitely agree, I've always said they should of been massive like Oasis, The Verve!! X
I concur. Amazing live 👍🏻
I agree I saw them a few time. The Astoria gig was the best I've been to
Not "indie", seeing as they were on a major.
bring me back to those days of no responsibility and listening to great tunes from the best band. 💚❤💭
2022 still playing these daily
👍
I’m 28 and this was the music I was brought up with and I still listen to it in sunny Glasgow 💚
I’m 41 and listen to this stuff every day still! The 90’s in glasgow was epic.
Quality sunny castlemilk listening the noo 😂
What i wouldn't give to be back in the nineties.
If you're around 50 and don't think these guys were the soundtrack of your misspent youth you done something wrong. Go back and live a bit.
Bought this album when it came out in autumn 1999, this struck me early on as easily the best track off it.
I can't believe how underrated this band is, I love them
Most underrated song of all time IMO
It's got to be criminally underrated what a tune
Such a gorgeous melody and arrangement. Loved it the first time I heard it, and the lyrics...
It's a song that should sadden me thinking about lost times and friends, and yet it's so uplifting. Just the magic of good music, I suppose.
U should hear them live absolutely awesome 👍
I did once, in Birmingham, Carling academy, awesome!

I saw them for the first time this year, it was so good I'm going again before the end of the year.

One of the most underrated songs to come out of the band! LUV IT!
Greatest band of the indie era. Seen them live two days ago in Liverpool. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. OCS

As much as I love oasis this band was the soundtrack to my younger years
My uncle just died he was the biggest fan he was actually pals with Oscar I remember he used to play this on his guitar I will miss you so much lamb rest in peace legend

Oasis and blur was the question. OCS was the answer. But, I also think I add the Verve and the Charlatans into the equation. Taught by Professor Paul Weller.
I bought this single back in 98ish and still love the tune and lyrics.
The 13 people who didn’t like this are so low.
This tune always made me a tad emotional.
This album always takes me back to the Autumn of 1999

Genoveses?
One of the best
One of thebest bands we ever produced. But oasis got the glory of that decade. Along with blur.
That just hits me...Depression is a bastard, alcohol, drugs, the fucking lot! I'm outta here. xx
Who are the 3 that don't like this Ffs ! 😂
Amazing, loved them in my 20s, really appreciate it in my 30s
