Needless to say it was the first thing I mentioned when I called him the other day. 😂 I shall certainly hope George buys a new belt after this 😂 but I’m betting he couldn’t care less and one of those “he is who he is” chappies that we all have and adore in their own ways 😊🤣
Yep that's a very nice complete ruston and working , I had the lister ce mounted on a simple trailer ,no problem just hook it on the towbar take it anywhere,
I've been watching your channel for about six months and I bloody love it ! I lived in Lowestoft for ten years and had a TV repair shop for a while there and then worked for AG Block in Kessingland (engineering company that made engine rigs for colleges that started and ran to teach would be mechanics. I always got the older engines with points and carburetors and those rigs almost always went to Ireland) before moving back to the Milton Keynes area (long story) I miss Suffolk & Norfolk. It was fantastic living there and I love the people and the accent. Love the channel, but I do miss the 'Roll the credits'. Maybe you could include it again or maybe just once for old times sake 😂 Have a great day and I'll 'keep-a-troshin'.
Other great engine the cart well thats another project it's self!!! What would I do??? Build a cart that when the engines running it drives itself around ,,,iam sure it's the the frist one but never seen any yet
How many horsepower is that? I'm just reckoning how many kVA it's good for. I have a vintage Honda GD100 (10hp) V-twin that drives a 4 kVA single phase generator. You generally reckon on around two n' half horses per kVA, but that's a rough guide, but just assuming it's a 7.5hp engine, you're good for 3 to 3.5 kVA. On another note, the old beast sounds an awful lot like a Lister CS, don't you think?
The sound of that engine brings a smile to your face. What an engine with a histoy that once kept our wonderful country going.
That needed to come with a full moon warning 😂😮
One of them was coin operated.
Good crack!! 😂

Hope you gave those lads a cup of tea, at least.
Lovely project. I look forward to seeing it all spruced up.
Sitten in Iowa USA just caught your video and see you've gotten another sweet project. 😋
That's a beautiful engine Adam

You'll need to build a barn next to keep them in 😂

What a beauty!!!!!!!!!
Nice engine!
And yes ... this needs another "transportation-system", as those wheels are not even good enough for a toy-truck !
Nice one Adam
How come none of us is surprised at this arrival? Have with it, as I'm sure you will.
Enjoy the new toy !😁

Sketchy. It’s getting a bit like a Fred Dibnah tribute act!
