I love the peace and quiet of a small town, especially as I’ve gotten older.Yes stores of any size are a good distance away however it’s always nice to come home to our quiet little town.To each his own,I won’t knock your way of life.
Super cool start on the headliner, bows and loops make it fun for everyone! A town without a Target is checking boxes for me as a good spot to settle in!
Enjoying this restore very much!!! By the way, was Tommy Lee Jones driver for many years, his hilarious mother Marie Braden lived in Cameron till she passed away, Loved her and he was always a good man to me!!!
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. The new ride for a road test ? Love the insulation, used myself ! Looks better already ! You have shown how much work go’s into a interior. ☕️👀😎👍. Nice work guys !
Thank you kind of wish I would’ve put the headliner in on that video. But I figured it be more fun to do everything in one shot I guess. When this series is over, I’ll do breakouts of all the individual stuff and individual videos I think. Maybe just a dream.
Hi there guys i love the old towns and buildings are cool in the states good to see your Wife have a go and saving money by doing it our selfs mate she still funny lady so have fun guys so be safe guys
Nice tour, thanks for bringing me along. Some of those buildings were really cool and I can't wait to see what it's gonna take to get those 7 bike's running. The interior is gonna look good when you get it in, it's gonna be a cool ride when it's finished! Later man, catch you on your next video. 👍
You’re welcome. Doing upholstery is actually pretty simple once you kinda wrap your head around to the construction of it. I really enjoy that portion of the projects. I’m known as “THE MAN” on the HAMB and ford barn.
В одном видео два интересных видео:-грандиозная работа над обшивками потолка и дверей и обзор города Кэмерон в Техасе.Как всегда с удовольствием посмотрел.
Thanks for the headliner project, a seldom seen repair for vintage cars. I find it amusing watching dudes with outstanding tool collections not having a box cutter handy for a product reveal.
I vote for you buying the building with all the treasures in it, then you can build out a living space in that and tons of workshop space. Problem solved!!
Mr. Anderson. Put your safety glasses on ! Rust & paint chips in the eye will ruin your day. Still think I would have put encapsulator or paint on the roof before the adhesive. Its nice you don't have a floor that way you can stand to do that headliner. They sell rolls of brown paper you could use as a template for the roof and sides then just lay it out on floor. I see we were both styling in your "52 Tshirt" this week. I'm a walking advertisment for your channel. I had numerous people ask about the shirt. And said they'd check it out. Your welcome Lee. Lol 👊😎👍 p.s. Holy crap a warehouse full of Mercs that look like mine did before the build ! 😳
Ha. Well thank you. And yes I was thinking about standing while installing it as well. But I’m work on the floor this week. Kinda juggling projects at the moment. But things are starting to move a little more quickly now.
Great video, Lee. Like following the progress of the hearse. If you ever get to work on a Lambretta , could you make a video? Looking forward to your next video. All the best!
Very cool 🤙 going good. I'm striking up a deal on a 49 cadillac flower truck right now. But I'm also grabbing a handful of other vehicles too. Gotta stop I have about 40 projects now smh
There are plenty of people over here in the UK who would love an original Lambretta. The value of these machines over here may shock you. For instance, a TV200 recently sold for over $29 000.
Holy smokes. Every once in a blue moon, I come across one for sale locally. And the prices are all over the place. There is an SX for sale for about 10 grand here locally all original. I really don’t see anybody buying that. Texas is not a very good place to ride something so small. Unless you live in a larger city like Dallas. It was great transportation when I lived in Los Angeles. Far easier to get around than a car.
Awesome build can't wait to see it when it's done and sorry I don't know what a lambretta is was it those scooters you were looking at but anyways awesome videos keep them coming

It may seem strange, but for a European, French, it is almost as interesting to take a tour in a small town in Texas with you, as to see the hearse moving forward. (thanks for the little information on grocery shopping) and I disagree, you need a pair of lambrettas in the back of the hearse. Like the horsemen of the apocalipse
Texas is a pretty interesting place. When it was settled during the mid-1850s. There was a mass influx of Europeans. You can drive around and we have towns found it from the Swedish, the English, Russians, checks, French, Germans, And so on. They’re actually is a road European road trip you can take through Texas.
Most of them are quite nice. It’s like stepping back in time. But we’ve all seen those horror movies. In fact, the Texas chainsaw massacre was filmed About 10 minutes from me. The original house is actually a restaurant.
Just love your humour man your the best would like to meet up ( no I'm not gay ) love your channel but we live in Northern England (ie Newcastle upon tyne ) keep up your amazing work spot on
Question for you, why do all the old buildings look like the Musters could have lived there, also are you going to paint grandma's last ride 😊. Till next time Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧
That would be the era the towns were built. Texas was immigrating by mass from all over Europe in the mid 1800s. So we have a broad ran of old world architecture, but most was built in the mid 1800s here.
I’ve had many vespas and a few lambretta. So I bought six of them at least I think. I should be picking them up on Saturday. So I can inventory what is in there. They’ve been in that building for approximately 25 years. So who knows what the condition is.
@@Theoldironworkshop They spend a a fortune in Europe for those Vespas and somehow also for Lambrettas. I think they are not to hard to be brought back to life. They might be a good investment to someone who knows to work on them. I own a much cooler scooter that now one knows. A 250cc Maicoletta from 1957 with an electric starter. It looks nearly new and did run less than 10 000 km since 1957! What people do not know is mainly underrated. Vespas and Mustangs are hopelessly overrated as every idiot recognizes them.
Totally true. Back years ago I worked at a scooter shop and we would have shows. People would bring all kinds of off the wall scooters. It’s was pretty amazing how many were imported back in the 50s

My mom grew up in a little town in Texas named Gatesville it was like the town of Mayberry the courthouse was in the middle of the town square with shops on each street on all 4 sides pretty neat all the shops are closed now I think there was a H.E.B there and there was a lil store called blacks and a cleark would bring your groceries out to the car for you Mt grand parents had a shoe store in the town square. It's pretty much a goast town now but the drive inn is still open and still shows movies my moms sister still lives there in the house my mom grew up inn. I love going there every summer.
Oh yes, that’s about an hour from me. I last time I was there. It was probably four years ago. And yes, it’s like time travel going through some of these little small towns.
Headliner going to look great. The Lambos was a great find. The price in UK and Europe have gone high on these. There’s a good movie. Quadraphinia. Some English guys are putting modern day scooter swinging arms and engines in the old bikes. A bit more reliability. Could even put electric motors in them. But always a cult bikes. Dude, everybody needs a Lambretta! Seriously, the Lambretta Club of the U.S.A. (LCUSA) is a good group of folks.
I will look them up. And yes you are correct

Yes they do. I’ve been into Vespa lamb Reto, etc. since I was probably 15. Long before cars.

In Europe, classic Lambrettas are worth a lot of money.
In Texas they are unheard of. When I lived in California they were quite popular. I’ve had a few.

those little towns usually only have one massive house because that guy owned the company the whole town worked for...
Doesn't strike me as a " Slayer " friendly place....
We were a little out of our element.
That one with the solar panels is an old cattle Baron's house is kind of famous
Never did a head liner. ... so this is cool for me. But What are the door panels drawn on? Wood? I can't tell. Good stuff. Thanks.

Also, I can't find a link to the headliner insulation. What brand is it?
a.co/d/01CKAEbx. And yes working on floors now. Laura said I would perish if I ruined her headliner. So I decided to wait
