that car is so staggeringly bueatiful, Jesus. I went from hating the 996 to the 996 turbo being my favorite watercooled variation. this video brings back great memories. I completed many times in soundoff back in the 90's and was fortunate I won 1st place all but 2 times in all the soundoff I was in 8 speaker but this was when MB Quart were some of the best speakers you could buy. also Rockford wasn't a best buy brand the 1000c amp was like 3500 dollars. I did 6 1/2 and tweeter in doors and 5 1/4 mid in the rear side of pack tray two a600 precision power that I switched for punch 150s I cant remember the crossover that was in it but the Rockford subs were great but the jl w6 was released and I switched those into the ported box. the guy who did now owns a place new German performance but he had the same set excepts the subs in his '91 civic SI and it blew my mind but for some reason the sound quality is what I won the frequency readout wasn't flat it wasn't the loudest best when the judges listened to it they were always blown away . it helped that the amps 1 bridged the other at 2 ohm or parallel...I cant remember but it was great time in my life. the car audio scene died out here in baltimore MD, I guess it all switched to performance but its no turbos s. this just looks so tidy and sanitary but at same time weapons grade. what a tasteful car. simply stunning!! cheers
Wait till the speakers "warm up" or "break in". I don't know the right term in English. But new speakers often need 20-40 working hours to fully show their potential. Then you'll see a massive difference :)
To me the biggest issue with the stock systems, even with the upgraded ones, is the stage. Just with an amp that comes with DSP and some tuning the difference using the same speakers is massive. Gorgeous car btw
Did you modify the tweeters to get them in the stock housing ? Ie the housing looks stock from inside the car? Will those speakers fit in the rear side panels of a cab? Thanks
Any noticeable difference by stepping up to the Audison Voce range or Hertz Mille? And would it be possible to fit an underseat sub (eg focal isub) in a 996?
Love the way you break down the costs. Very transparent and very welcome.
Hes a Londoner not a Scouser!
Without the pricing the video doesnt do much sense since we wouldnt know if we can afford it and if we wana spend the money
Can actually hear the difference through the video - must sound amazing IRL.
Very smart install. The box in the rear looks OEM great job as always from Jay
Da BBS wheels be going da business... 🇿🇦

Great Video...stunning 996 !
I was eyeing up the center-lock wheels off the other 911 in the shop!!!

Stunning car. I use my 996 as a daily driver which has the same Bose system as yours and I know what you mean about the clarity.

Is this something CAS can do?

How does the apk165 compare to its rivals?
I am interested in this too. And are there any noticeable improvements by to upgrading to the Audison Voce range (or equivalents)?
Excellent. And you're selling it..... 🤔😉
Where did the amp go?!
BOSE = Buy Other Sound Equipment......... lol
Please upgrade my 2005 Honda civic sound system...
Sure you still want to sell the 996 Raj!
