In the UK the Profitec is over £2000 and you will need to add £200 for flow control and a bottomless porta filter is additional cost if you want one, the Bianca is £1750 all in. I suspect I can make bad coffee with either as it is my special talent 😂
I have been using Bianca v2 for a while. It’s a great machine fit and finish is great on mine and it’s build like a tank. I especially like the mesh drip tray cover and the matching cup elevator as well as the round corners. The main advantage of Bianca is the fact that water tank can be placed on the side so it fits on the narrow countertops. No other machine would fit in the space I have but this one does. Filling the water tank would have been impossible if the tank was on the back but it’s much easier on the side. The drip tray is huge and only needs to be emptied once every two weeks which is also a plus. It also comes with a great bottomless portafilter. Any machine with PID and dual boiler will pull an excellent shot at the price point so it comes down to size looks and features.
Ditto. Just got the bianca-- very happy that one can move the water tank. My biggest peeve with the machine are the steam/hotwater knobs-- way too much play before they turn on.
I never used the Profitect and I do own a Bianca V3, but I'd assume another minor advantage that Pro 700 has is a functional middle lever position. The Bianca lever clicks in that position, but it doesn't actually function like other E61 machines, where the pump stops and pressure is held in the grouphead (useful when backflushing and when doing very long pre-infusion). With that said, I wouldn't choose the Profitec for this one minor advantage and see more benefit in the Bianca V3 pre-infusion and low flow features. Too bad they're a bit immature and underdeveloped. My hunch is that the V4 will fully utilize programmable pressure profiles via an app, a la Decent machines.
@@platinumdynamite yes, I know and I did it several months after writing this comment. It's very odd that Lelit Support insisted that there's no such option in the Bianca.
@@platinumdynamite I'm overall very happy with it. I wrote a detailed review about it in Home Barista forum and updated it several times, including about adjusting to enable the middle lever position. Search for "Bianca V3 wordy impressions".
@4:56 With ECM and Profitec machines, this should be the orange light that you dislike so much. That is, if you feel better about (not being active), it is time to refill the water ;-) I agree with you that it is rather subtile, but nothing can happen - apart from not working at all. I absolutely would love to have an acoustic warning in addition to the non-active orange lamp in case of lacking water…
In indonesia, you can get bianca v3 for usd 2600 while p700 cost about usd 3200 without flow control addons. V2 cost about 200 less if you dont need the new feature. So no brainer which one to choose.
Looking at Elisabet or Maria X which is in my budget. Elisabeth is perhaps not great looking but has lots of options .Was considering the Bezzera BZ12 as well same price range however the finishing could be better.Congratulation on your Bianca.
Is the profitec 700 quieter than the Lelit Bianca? Also do you have experience with brewing multiple shots back to back on both machines? I saw in another review of the Lelit that it needs 3-4 minutes when doing +2 shots. Is that your experience too?
P700 and Synchronika is the exact same machine. Only difference is the p700 doesn't have the joystick steam wands and chrome e61 lever. Synchronika owner myself.
Please don't say "no money exchange hands" when you've been given a $3,000 machine. While technically true, it is VERY misleading and the idea of impartiality is no "money or thing of value" was exchanged. You can't get away with paying off an official by buying them a house and then claiming no money changed hands. I am NOT implying you're not putting out a fair review. But stating this sentence like this is flat out misleading. You can state it more truthfully and still put out a solid review. Maybe something like "I was given this machine by the manufacturer, but there was no implicit requirement for a positive review". Just a tip. But for me if it seems like a reviewer is trying to cover it up it just makes me trust the review less. But be upfront :)
REALLY really helpful review for someone who is in the market for a prosumer machine. The little bits like the Bianca giving you a notice when you are low on water, vs. the Pro 700 that only has it on some machines is really nice to know. That's helpful for someone like me that will probably end up having a cabinet above the machine, so refilling the water tank could really be a pain on something other than the Bianca. I'm actually comparing the Bianca v3 vs. the ECM Synchronika currently, and I imagine the Pro 700 is effectively the same as the ECM, so the Bianca wins on that aspect. Also hearing about the steam lever on the Rocket that scratches the front panel - very nice thing to note!
I am hesitating to purchase one of those machines. The only concern is the material quality . I heard that profitec is higher in quality perspective. Is that true? if Yes, how much the difference? is it noticeable? Many thanks for the video content, keep going!
Im having hard time choose between profitec pro 600 vs lelit bianca v3 (same price in my country). I have to do around 15 capuchino back to back. Can someone give me advice please?
If you like the look of the Bianca then it's a no brainer. In the US the Pro 700 and the Bianca retail similarly so there the choice is more difficult.
I feel lucky for my choice of Lelit Bianca v3. It's a beast. And I don't mind if Italians didn't build their machine as sturdy as Germans. I was in-between Lelit and Bezzera, but Bezzera has no official seller and support in my country
To me there is no comparison, profitec wins, when doing my research the quality and reliability of the profitec could not be beat, i have the synchronika which is the fancier brother to this pro 700 and the levers on my ecm are a god Send.
The Profitec will indeed tell you when it wants water. The orange light at the lower left corner of the front panel will go out and the machine will shut down. Pour water in, and voila. You’re making coffee again.
Has anyone came up with mods in terms of the status lights like the ones on the Profitec? I quite like the ring light style on the lelit. Imagine if there is one that comes without a button and can be retrofitted to all other espresso machines.....
I am so confused about what I should get between these 2; a machine in this price range should last for 5-10 years at least 1- Could Lelit Bianca survive for that long? 2- How is the quality inside the Lelit?
Blanket claims about the Bianca having a lesser build quality were made a couple of times in this video, but no evidence was given to support that claim. There’s more attention to detail on the Profitec? Please share those details. I was really disappointed by this aspect of the comparison.

When the orange light turns off for the profitec, that's when you need to fill it. Not sure wife that counts as a "full sign"
