I had to laugh when you said that, I knew you meant Tablespoons. Becky, thank you so very much for your videos and for bringing back wonderful memories. I can remember my Mama making those fried apple pies and they were the best! A lot of the time if we did not have fresh apples she would use dried apples and rehydrate them. I appreciate the recipes and the link for making the filling so very much. I have tried other recipes but they weren’t quite right. I know that your recipe will be just right. I love all the signs in your kitchen, they all say just what my husband and I feel! I would love to find them somewhere. Thank you especially for the beautiful messages included in your video. I love your strong Christian belief and your unapologetic approach. You always state where viewers can skip to if they don’t want to hear the message, but I never do. I admire and respect you and appreciate your values and thank you so very much for sharing them with me and all your viewers.

You are SUCH a blessing! I love that you share the WORD of God and give God the Glory every time! I'm a southern girl and I love the way you cook!!! You are such a light in this dark world. So thankful I found you online. I'm a Pastor's wife and you are such a great encourager. You have the gift of encouragement and hospitality! Only heaven will reveal the lives you have touched through this site! Blessings to you and your precious family! Thanks for opening your kitchen and your heart to us all!!! Cindy B.
I thought I was just going to learn how to make my MaMaw's fried pies ... and I did...I ALSO badly needed to hear that message from Jeremiah. Thank you 💞
@Dianne Boettcher, God's timing is always right on target isn't it! Ms. Becky is a Great "Delivery Service" for HIS Word. And, she does have tasty recipes with totally thorough instructions. Diane, God Bless you in all your needs and Keep you Safe in HIS Loving Embrace. Have an INCREDIBLE week.
Thank you for your beautiful pie recipe and that awesome truth! It reminded my spirit of how awesome our father is! Thank you 😊, from a happy subscriber, and a fellow believer in Christ. 😇🥰. Have a blessed week 🙏
Good morning. I never had been "Bored to tears" with your teaching lessons, I personally enjoy this, this is why I come back every time. Cooking and Bible lessons in one class😊❤😊. Anyway, take care and be blessed.
I love that she has a used kitchen. Notes up, utensils hanging and so on. This is a kitchen. Not a show place of lookie I have stuff I don't ever use. Her voice is calming and she teaches everything so nicely. Plus she's not hiding her belief in God and country. Love watching her.
Thank you for the Bible lesson, and for reminding us the Lord IS our hope. And thanks for warning us about satan's attacks and not to give up when those attacks come and for telling us to "wipe up the flour mess and start over; sweep up the sugar and keep goin'." Blessings to you, Becky. And oh, thanks for the recipe, too!
Oh and the title also drew me to this video because it reminded me of my dad (RIP Daddy), who out of the blue took some green apples my cousin and I picked from his tree in his back yard, and made these "knock your socks off" patries like you did. It was so random and so good! Kinda like he was showin' off that he could cook whenever he felt like it. 😂 And he never made them again no matter how much we asked him to. Such a tease! 😂 So thank you for letting me re-live that memory 35+ years later. 🙏🏾
This video brings back some really good memories for me. When I was 11 or 12 years old my best friend was a fellow named Mike. He's the brother of the woman that eventually became my wife. Although he passed many years ago (RIP), I still remember learning to bake and, to a lesser extent, cook with him, because he was his Grandma's favorite grandchild and she and her husband just happened to be retired bakers that used to run a neighborhood bakery from their home, which was about 8 doors down from my house, once I moved onto the block. She gave him (and me) the run of her kitchen and access to her recipes and her library of cookbooks. We focused on confections and candies and pastries and the first thing we tackled was fried apple pies. We had a neighbor that had some kind of wild apple tree in his backyard that had the sourest apples I ever ate and they were free for the taking, since he hated cleaning them up before he cut his grass. We learned how to sweeten and fry up those apples in butter (oleo margarine, actually) and, although we used canned biscuit dough, how to roll out crusts and fill 'em up and crimp 'em with a fork just like you did and fry 'em in Crisco. Cinnamon and powdered sugar was the topping of choice. I think I'm gonna have to have another go at it now that I can afford better apples and actual butter. LOL By the way, his Grandma always took care of the cleanup if we shared the fruits of our labor with her, so next time you knock over the sugar, offer Brett a pie to clean it up for you.
This is how I love the work God does. My two daughters and I have been through some very hard things. And I was just telling someone I have my faith being very happy as a Christian, and secure in it. God is Hope. Without God, there is no hope. It helps us spur on knowing He's always there. :) I like the way I say or think something, an hour later i "see" it or hear it, and I look up and say thank you for letting me know I'm still on the right path. Have a beautiful day!
I saw a sign today......Don't you dare give up! This is going to be a God made a way kind of day! It sure did lift up my spirits!! This recipe sounds wonderful!
Same here in America. My mom made these for us 4 kids. We were allowed to take them and a glass of milk outside. We eat them outside on the steps. They were made exactly like this except my mom used her hands. Haha. My mom was a chef at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Amen Thank you so much for your scripture I really needed it today going through self pity party thinking I am the only one that has problems in this life but I know that our God has us through it all.God is surely using you to encourage others such as I.And thank you for sharing your recipe❤
If you will allow, I have a story about my Daddy's Brother, Roy Franklin Bowen. He was a cook in WWII AND COOKED IN GERMAN basement. He found apples in the fruit cellar, he asked hi commander if he could make fried pies out of em. The commander said no" they could have been poisoned. He said I will eat one or two before served. If I die throw em out. He agreed to his request. He did not die, and there were many happy soldiers. As a side note. He was one of the few who served in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. He was one of the best Uncles I had. And he loved us like a Grand paw for sure. This story filled my eyes up with a bunch of great memories. ❤️🇺🇸
Thank you for your yummy receipes. I would love to use one of your paperback bibles. My husband became paralysed in March of last year. He thought the pain he was experiencing was his sciatica. It turned out to be cancer of the prostate. Anyway it has been a year of ups and downs. But my husband's second trip to the hospital turn out to be a life or death situation. God was there with us. He performed miracles in the hospital, that I will never forget. I am sure the doctor, that got down on his knees in front of me will never forget either. He begged me to turn off all the life saving machines. My husband made a muscle to show me he was Okay. I just keep praying. I prayed, that every hand that touched him God would work his healing power through their hands. By that evening he was 50% better, by the next morning he was another 59% better, by the next morning they were waiting on a bed , so he could leave intensive care. The doctor came in and tried to take credit for God's miracles. Also, when my husband was able to talk to me he said an old doctor cane to see him twice and told him he was going to be alright, but he never seen his face. I am sorry for going on, but I am my husband"s care giver now. He is moving his legs and I will never give up faith in my Lord. So, if you could spare a bible I would appreciate it.
I love ❤️ fried pies, been wanting some for a while so I guess I’ll be attempting to try your recipe. I’m disabled in a wheelchair but GOD has blessed me so far to see 80 the first of this year. Thank you for showing me short cuts on how to make these. May GOD continue to bless you and your family 🙏🙏
My mom made these when I was a kid from the canned biscuit dough. She'd do chocolate by simply mixing cocoa and sugar for the filling. It isn't a creamy chocolate for sure but the sugar does melt and if you add a smidge of butter on top it melts even more! I'll be doing this before long when my apples start ripening...if the horses leave me any that is. God bless you and yours. Jesus is Lord!
@@gloriacresswell8052 You could try that for sure. The cocoa and sugar is good though. I've made them and just put some butter on top so it melts the sugar better. Yes, it's grainy but oh so good.
I just love to hear this lady explain her recipes. I was born in Kentucky and she reminds of me of my birth state. I did live there off and on. Love her recipes also.yum!
THANK YOU SISTER BECKY FOR ALL YOU DO. I NEEDED THAT WORD AND THE KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO COOK. WE LOVE YOU BECKY. GOD BLESS YOU BECKY AND ALL YOUR FAMILY IN JESUS NAME. PRAYING FOR YOU TOO SISTER.
Thank you for the recipe and the message. My husband and I just took in a teenage girl with nowhere to go. As in tonight is her first night in our home. It's been in the works for months and I really felt like God had laid it on my heart to help her. But over the last few weeks, EVERYTHING went wrong. I started to think maybe it wasn't the right thing to do after all... But then I thought, "no. This is satan putting barriers in our way because it IS what God wants me to do". Meant a lot to my heart to hear you say what I already knew. Love and light to you.
What a testimony and encouragement! And looky there, your best made fried pie ever while giving it!💖🙌 Praise the Lord! One day at a time!!💖🌻🌷 God bless y'all!!😊
Just Beautiful as always, Becky. Thank you again, for another AWESOME - Comfort Food Recipe. And for your wonderful, easy, confident way, of sharing the TRUTH of God's Word, with the Hungry Hearts of the Kitchens - all over the world.🔥🔥🕊🕊🔥🔥 Much Love and Hugs and Prayers, from our house to yours. Becky I love all the cooking tips you give. When we’re camping we make these pies with pizza filling. The grandkids love them. Thank you so much for the Bible lessons you give. You are always so encouraging. You are a blessing to us. Prayers for Malinda. The Lord is our comfort.
I ‘m really glad that you recorded this. Great bible lesson and I love these pies. We normally only get them once a year at a local harvest festival. Now we can make our own.
Thank you for posting this video! I was 14 years old the first time I'd ever had a fried pie. My maternal great-grandmother (Nonie) made chocolate fried pies the summer I spent with her. I've tried too many times to replicate the experience and have never succeeded. Thanks to you, I'm going to try again!
Fried pies bring back memories from when I was a little girl and my mom made them. Delicious! Thanks for keeping forward and not letting the devil win!! What a good lesson and encouragement!
I used to send them to school with the boys when they were needing snacks for field days, parties, etc. Them or no bake cookies. Love me some fried pies.
I almost didn’t watch this, but just save it for later. I’m glad I continued watching. I needed to hear the story about the video redo and the verses in Jeremiah. I’ve been soo close to giving up lately. Long story short, 30 marriage, husband left me for another woman, I’m disabled and living on less that $1000 a month. I’m the only woman in the world that proved adultery and judge awarded no alimony. I could definitely use a little prayer. Y’all have a blessed day. Oh, I love hearing the ppl that send cards and inspire you and others!
Please pray for my daughter. God knows the whole story and I know you will pray for her and the family. Thank you Becky!! I pray for her every day and have given her to God. 🙏🏻♥️✝️
Thank you for these videos, not just the cooking but also for your keeping God in what you are doing and saying! I start my day with God with this prayer; Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus, I give to You this day, everything I think and do and say. 🙏♥️✝️
Thank you for sharing the scripture and reminding us that God loves us. I enjoy all your videos most are the way Do mine. My mama taught me how to cook using all the old fashion, delicious ways to make food. I wish more moms would take the time to teach their children how to cook and read and study the scriptures. I am almost 74 years old, my son is 53 and he is divorced, he cooks a lot of things I taught him to cook. I told him when he was growing up I wanted him to be able to take care of himself. He has turned into a very good cook Sunday he cooked us baked chicken, Mac and Cheese, frozen peas, and I cooked the cornbread, he loves my cornbread. We enjoyed it very much and I am so proud I raised a son that can do a little of everything. He is a auto mechanic by trade but he has done many things just like his daddy. He built the house he lives in and did all the plumbing, electrical work, everything it takes to build a house he did it. I have bragged enough on how proud of him I am . Thanks again for sharing your talent both in cooking and the scriptures.
Those looked GREAT . . Every time I go to Pideon Forge I have to stop at the Apple Barn and buy some fried pies . . Last time I was there I missed it but my niece that lives in Knoxville has a friend that works there and brought me some after she got off works . . Thank you Amber and your friend ! !
I am a Kiwi living in Queensland Australia and I found You by accident, ... ... Or was it :) I was So Excited to hear your Christian Messages, Thank You for your delicious, easy to make recipes and Your God Inspired Thoughts, it is Refreshing Indeed to hear these when the World is in such turmoil as it is at the moment ... God Bless You and Yours xx :)
My mom would make these when we were just kids. Sometimes daddy would help here. When I got old enough I would help. I love these apple pies. I have 6 apples l need to use and 2 pie crust. I think I will cook these tomorrow. Use a saucer to cut them out. Pickup anorher pkg. Of pie crust so I can share with my friends. Love your show, just seems like everytime you start talking about God it hits home , like you are talking to me. Thank you for the inspiration and messages that God gives you to share with us.💕🙏👍🍎🍎🥟
One of the last things I made with my 90 year old dad before he passed was peach fried pies. I had never heard of fried pies but he remembered them from his TN upbringing. Thanks for the video.
I love when God confirms something. I made an apple pie this past weekend and thought about making some fried apple pies. And this evening my pastor read a scripture from the book of Jeremiah and I thought to myself I've never done a study on this book. Now tell me what are the odds that I would just happen to see your video on fried apple pies and you quote a scripture from this book? If that's not confirmation I don't know what is. That's my testimony. AMEN.
I can’t even tell you how happy I am to find your channel! You are making fried pies the same way my Grandma did when I was little. She would use dried apples though because we didn’t go to stay with them in Tennessee until Thanksgiving or summer time. I have never been able to find the recipe. I was too young to think about asking her for the recipe before she died. Now I can share this special treat with my kids and grandkids. Thank you so much!
I adore you SOOOOO MUCH! When you said, Just sweep up the spilled sugar and keep on going.... I shouted. I am going to make a sign that says that and hang it up. WISE WORDS FOR 2021!!! HE IS LORD!!
Im making these again tonight Becky! Thanks to you my husband has his nanas fried apple pies again! He says it's exactly the same! I so appreciate you!
You can use 1 teaspoon of cornstarch in 1/4 cup of powdered sugar to keep it from melting on the pie. I love the takeaway from Jeremiah. So important for us to remember!
You’re an Angel, Becky! Listening to you brings me such peace! And I can’t wait to make these fried apple pies that my mama used to make. Thank you and God Bless you & yours! 🥰🙏🏻😇
I am Southern born & bred but girl that accent is country, I luv it! Enjoy your videos, enjoy your bible talks, and I just ordered me a T-shirt, can’t wait to get it! Keep up the good work!
Put God First He loves us so! He made our country free back when churches did not allow killing and knew what a boy and what girl was. God knew and knows what He is doing and He takes care of the heat and cooling of earth . He is absolutely Good and perfect
I just discovered your channel and I LOVE IT. The basic & pantry ingredients. The simplicity. How they can bring good food even in a down economy. Thank you so much for including the Lord in all you do 🥰🙏🏻. Blessings!
Oh my goodness I hadn't been watching all that long and had no idea you were so close to me😁. When I was still driving truck (b4 I met my husband) I was up through there (my shortcut to Corbin KY) ALL the time. Love your recipes AND your Bible teachings. Yes indeed the enemy will definitely attack what he doesn't want us to get "out there"! God bless🙏❤️🙏
I’m new here & didn’t know where she lived? But you mentioned Corbin? I know exactly where that is as I lived in London once upon a time. Is Becky close to London or Corbin? 😊
My husband's father was a baker in the Navy during World War II and always cooked homemade apple turnovers for the family ~ He would freeze a bunch for the kids to snack on as they pleased....Today I made my first batch of turnovers EVER ~ I had the fire too hot on the first two turnovers and had to throw out the burnt oil...cleaned my cast iron skillet and tried again :) This time they all came out perfect!!!!! I even fried up the pieces of dough that were left after trimming the pies and sprinkled cinnamon and powered sugar over them for a "snack"...my husband and I are snacking on them now as I write this to you ~ THANK YOU for giving us all such inspiring words, sharing your marvelous recipes, amazing hints and making us the best cooks on the planet :O) You are truly a gifted instructor and we are both so happy to have found you!!
It’s so awesome that you made this video. My granny made these when I was growing up and I was too young to really learn how she did it. Years later when my mom passed I found granny’s recipe for the pies amongst moms things but it was just the measurements with the ingredients. The way you do yours seems most like what I remember her doing. I’ve watched so many videos of fried pie making and yours is the one that might actually work for me. And besides your voice sounds like hers so it’s gotta be the best one. 😉 also I appreciate so much you giving glory to God and sharing your thoughts on His word. Do everything as unto the Lord...even frying pies. 👍
Great to see your kitchen posters mentioning God, and hearing you quoting the Bible and speaking about the Lord. All these things plus your great recipes makes for a super blessing. Rev Bryan V East (retired Church of England Minister)
Fried pies bring back childhood memories. I remember us grandkids turning over the apple slices my granny was drying in the sun on an old sheet so they would dry evenly, but my neighbor made THE best fried pies when me and my 4 siblings and her 5 kids were growing up. My youngest brother loved her fried pies so much that she would make them especially for him even as an adult! Thank you!
So glad you didn't give up!😅 I'd been asking my family for years if anyone knew my Granny's fried pies recipe. No one knew!🤷♀️ Praise God this is exactly how hers looked! I'm so happy!❤
You are so awesome. Thank you my sister in Christ. I appreciate your hard work in doing this channel for your fans/ followers and giving us easy, recipies that go along way to feed a few or many. I love your channel. Prayers for you often .Thank you for bringing us your sunshine and putting smiles on mine and families faces with these yummy recipes. 😀
Boy this takes me back, my granny who lived to be 92 insisted on Sunday dinner after church and it really held our family together, made the best fried apple pies. My mother and i both try but too greasy or doughy, we cant hold a candle to grannys. Bless you all
Thank you so much for this recipe! My grandmother use to make fried peach pies every year along with pear preserves. I sure miss those summer days when we would go to the fresh fruit and vegetable market and she would buy bushels of fresh peaches speckled butter beans purple hull peas okra corn just about everything. She would can so much and freeze so much food. The food old days.
Thank you for making these! My husband and I just made them using gluten free flour. There are delicious!! Thanks for sharing your testimony and talking about Jesus. So good to hear this, too!
Thank you, I just made my first apple fried pies. Making the dough used 2 sticks of butter. Let set over night. Crust didn't come together. Figured out, fried, just to crumble. So I've decided that it is a great topping for ice cream Thank you for your recipe & thank you for your thoughts & prayers & love of God. Thank you Lord Jesus for all you place in each other lives.
You are such an inspiration.....The best apple pie you have ever made.....Because you were sharing the Word of the LORD about hope.....My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
Thank you so much for your tremendous effort to teach us how to become better cooks. I am a brand new cook. My wife of 53 years now depends on me to make palatable dishes like yours. Thank you so much and may God bless you and yours for ever.
Oh goodness Ms. Becky I have just found your channel. First I'm so happy that you give God the glory always Amen 🙏. I love you're recipes so far especially the cinnamon rolls you're cakes, candies and now these decadent pies so yummy can't wait to try these. Thank you Blessings 🙌upon you and yours 🔥💜
Becky.. What a Blessing pies and a lesson . So often we do forget the devil does not want us to talk about God or really have anything to do with him but you were led by the spirit to continue even though you had a mess and sometimes life is that way to so many things happen we just want throw in the towel. but he give su hope . What a Blessing to hear, we all have trials but we always have hope in the Lord . God Bless Kathy from Kansas
I love homemade fruit pies (and meat-filled) -- looking forward to trying out this recipe, thank you so much! But I also watch your videos because you remind us to keep God first and your kitchen looks like a very welcoming, peaceful place! And your biblical advice is most welcome! Thank you!
I had to watch this video, it brought back memories of Wednesday Pie day at church. The women made pies from almost every fruit you could think of, peaches, apples, apricot anything they could get. They even used dried fruits when they didn’t have fresh. They make the pies and then they were used to raise moneys for the church. Even as a child it as something I recall learning how to cook. Thank you for the happy memories. Loved your story about not giving up when things get challenging
I am reading in Psalms and boy was it so wonderful to hear you talking about verses in the Bible and yes for sure the Lord is our hope. God works in mysterious ways!
Use to make these all the time when I was a kid and for my kids. Thanks for the memories. Now I will be making them for my grandkids. Have a great day !
My grandmother used to make peach preserve fried pies when I was a little guy..., they were amazing..., such good memories..., that's why I want to try and make these..., thank you for the recipe.
@@TheHillbillyKitchen I received your cookbook as a birthday present last week - it was from my girlfriend - I love it ! And my girlfriend is now a "keeper"
These are mouth-watering I can't wait to make some. I have to tell you I ordered your cookbook Verses and Vittles, volume 1 and I got it today and I'm going through it from cover to cover. I love love love every single recipe. It is the best money that I have spent on a cookbook bar none and I've been collecting cookbooks for my whole life. The scriptures are wonderful and the story of you is such a blessing.
Thank you so very much for all of your wonderful recipes and all of your fantastic words of God! I really appreciate your videos! I live in West Texas, and I have enjoyed all of your recipes!! I will be making these fried pies soon! My husband’s grandmother had a business that she started out of her own kitchen and then her husband built her a shop where she made Fried Pies! She drove all over West Texas selling: Grandma Collins’ Fried Pies! Later on she added sandwiches!! Everything Grandma Collins made was absolutely delicious!! Thank you so very much! Norma Collins
I have made fried apple pies for Fifty five years. I always cheated. I used Ballard canned biscuits. After watching your video, I have been converted! I feel as though I went to Bible study with a culinary side trip. God bless you. I love you and your show. You and Jesus feed my soul.
Just like I remember from my childhood. My mother used apples she dried when they were ripe. The only thing that came close were some I bought at a rural country store just outside Montgomery Alabama 40 years ago. They were made by a local lady, and sold by the store owner.
Yes! My Mama, too. Wasn’t them the best apples ever? I didn’t mind helping peel the apples, or laying them out on screens to dry and rearranging them. Oh, and you had to watch for a sudden rain shower or thunderstorm passing through to ruin your apples outside drying. Those were the best times, and people seemed so much smarter.
We used dried peaches or dried apples to make or fried pies. Also we rolled our dough thinner. A little less than 1/4 inch. People stood in line at church dinners to get one. Some people got the pie first then went to the back of the line to get the main dishes.
Becky, while reading through the many comments on this video, I recognized what was happening with the mic and spilled sugar. I used to write a Christian blog. I would often come under spiritual attack because satan did not want the message I was writing about out there. I learned to recognize those attacks (which could happen before or after I would write), and then I learned to always pray for protection from those attacks beforehand (I’m a slow learner 😉). Not every struggle is an attack, obviously, but at the same time many are. You are doing a mighty work for the LORD, and satan will take notice, as he does with all Believers who are obediently following God. As long as you obediently continue in this ministry, and are successfully ministering to your fellow Believers, as well as sharing the Gospel, satan will do whatever he can to frustrate your efforts. I will be praying for God’s protection over you and Brett and this ministry. May God bless you, and keep you, and shelter you in His hand.
Your prayers are needed and appreciated. I too have learned to recognize satan's attacks (most of the time) and pray for protection, but I'm also a slow learner, lol, and I forget sometimes. Thank you and God bless you Mary.
My sweet mother used to fry those great tasting apple pies that she called half moon fried apple pies, which were always my favorite and I remember the sweet buttery taste that I today’s many years later cannot replicate. God bless!
What a day I had! Use 3 or 4 tablespoons of filling in your pies, not teaspoons, sorry 🤔
Mercy, if that's the biggest oops you make, you're doing great! Thank you for your videos and sending hugs.

I love that song! I thought of it immediately when Becky talked about it. My grandma used to sing that song all the time.
What a cute story!
Apfelküchle (as we call them over here in Germany) - loved them made by my grandma back when I was a little kid and still love them to this day...
Thank you for sharing❤
@@ingridm9335 thank you.
That scripture and sharing was a great blessing. Thank you.
That's a good Word. The Lord is our hope and we always prosper in and out of season.
The Apple Barn pies do not compare with these apple pies . They use way too much dough and not enough apple filling
My Lord what a beautiful and perfect message that you shared with us to go with these beautiful apple pies. Thank you so much. ❤️ ~~Sharon
Yeah, was wondering about the chocolate filling. Could you use a pudding thickened with the powdered sugar? Idk. Just thinking.
@@gloriacresswell8052 You could try that for sure. The cocoa and sugar is good though. I've made them and just put some butter on top so it melts the sugar better. Yes, it's grainy but oh so good.
My grandma used to make me the most delicious fried pies. I can’t wait to cook these for my children. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽
I never met my grandparents you were blessed
One day at a time!!💖🌻🌷 God bless y'all!!😊
I love your simplicity and your voice.
Yes Thank you.
This sounds good!
I ‘m really glad that you recorded this. Great bible lesson and I love these pies. We normally only get them once a year at a local harvest festival. Now we can make our own.
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching. God bless you!
Don't replicate create
Fried pies bring back memories from when I was a little girl and my mom made them. Delicious! Thanks for keeping forward and not letting the devil win!! What a good lesson and encouragement!
I used to send them to school with the boys when they were needing snacks for field days, parties, etc. Them or no bake cookies. Love me some fried pies.
Nothing better than a fried apple pie! :) 😋 yummy!
I will pray for her Charlotte. God bless you both!
Thank you for these videos, not just the cooking but also for your keeping God in what you are doing and saying! I start my day with God with this prayer; Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus, I give to You this day, everything I think and do and say. 🙏♥️✝️
Thank you for always lifting up the Lord and His Word. You are special!
Thank you and God bless you!
I figured you meant tablespoons. People who cook should know. I love your channel. Those pocket pies look so good.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom both in the kitchen, but also in God’s word! ❤️
Thank you and God bless you!
I like what you do and i like you love God
Some days we all need to hear the gospel. Love the pies yummy.
I assure I did not come here to cry. But that revelation of God's word convicted me. I cannot thank you enough!
You’re an Angel, Becky! Listening to you brings me such peace! And I can’t wait to make these fried apple pies that my mama used to make. Thank you and God Bless you & yours! 🥰🙏🏻😇
Thank you so much for you great recipes. I enjoy watching your videos.thanks for sharing your faith with others.
I love your videos! Not just for the cooking ❤️ thank you for bringing the truth of scripture to your videos. You are a blessing to me.
I just discovered your channel and I LOVE IT. The basic & pantry ingredients. The simplicity. How they can bring good food even in a down economy. Thank you so much for including the Lord in all you do 🥰🙏🏻. Blessings!
This channel is a blessing in so many ways. Food for the body and food for the soul.
Thank you Becky for sharing your recipe and the Bible thought! May God continue to Bless you!
My Mom use to make these fried pies all the time! She made apple, blackberry and pear! My Mom deep fried hers with lard! They were delicious 😋
Lol Becky😂if not turning on the microphone is the worst thing you do today your doin good! God made us all human☺ great recipe!
I loved how you put that about the hope in the Lord. We all need that reminder.
18:06/28:23 Jeremiah 17:7-8 trust/hope in the Lord....
Your words where O so needed...thank you....
I am reading Jerimiah. As I am reading through the Bible this year. Our hope is in the Lord always. God loves us. Thank you for the fried pies.
Thank you!
Hello Janet how are you doing today?
Thanks for sharing your memories with us, God bless you Brenda!
I love that you put God first and you are down to earth and not fancy. God bless you
Amen. Great advice. Just keep getting up again. Shake it off and keep going. God bless!! Be persistant!
Sometimes I'm scared to get up due to their waiting to do them waiting to knock me back down, but I know I have to so I can escape.
AMEN! If you don't have Hope you have nothing. God is our Hope!
The message from God's word you shared...was just wonderful !! Thank you for persevering through, it was a Blessing. Thank you Jesus, Amen.
Thank you for making these! My husband and I just made them using gluten free flour. There are delicious!! Thanks for sharing your testimony and talking about Jesus. So good to hear this, too!
Thank you for saying that, God bless you!
Thank you, I just made my first apple fried pies. Making the dough used 2 sticks of butter. Let set over night. Crust didn't come together. Figured out, fried, just to crumble.
So I've decided that it is a great topping for ice cream
Thank you for your recipe & thank you for your thoughts & prayers & love of God. Thank you Lord Jesus for all you place in each other lives.
You are such an inspiration.....The best apple pie you have ever made.....Because you were sharing the Word of the LORD about hope.....My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
Yes bless your heart..
BEAUTIFUL ✝️📖✝️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
Amen!!
I love your channel. Sharing your faith brightens my day. Sharing your amazing recipes widens my hips. God Bless!
Thanks for sharing that with us, I hope you have a great day too. God bless you!
I’m blessed to hear you talk about Jesus and what God’s Word says to you… there’s a few lessons I have learned from listening to you! Thank you
Those look great, I love a fry pie, reminds me of my time living in Amish country
This is still blessing people today. Me!!! Lol
So thankful for your willingness to be used by God.
My grandmother used to make peach preserve fried pies when I was a little guy..., they were amazing..., such good memories..., that's why I want to try and make these..., thank you for the recipe.
Thank you for watching and trying my recipe, God bless you!
@@TheHillbillyKitchen I received your cookbook as a birthday present last week - it was from my girlfriend - I love it ! And my girlfriend is now a "keeper"
FRIED APPLE PIES IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE FOODS TO EAT. I LOVE THEM. YUM!
Me too!

I use egg roll wraps to deep fry apple pies. They remind me of those served at McDonald's when I was a kid in the 70's
They were so good and so painfully hot. Cold food, and to hot to eat dessert.
Same here except mom made ours, a fave when the family came for a visit
I love the way you spoke about the Bible verse. The tree planted by the water is my husbands favorite verse
One of my favorites! I really love when the elderly ladies at the church up the road fro me, make these! Woooo weee! ♥️🍎
My sweet mother used to fry those great tasting apple pies that she called half moon fried apple pies, which were always my favorite and I remember the sweet buttery taste that I today’s many years later cannot replicate. God bless!
Thanks for sharing your memory with us. God bless you!
