My mom is in her 70’s and this is her dream bag 😩😂 she’s never owned anything LV, and she doesn’t like anything pre-loved. So I guess I’m about to drop over $3K 😳 for her. 🫣 I realize I only like the vintage LV like the Murakami collection hands down. I don’t like the brown canvas’s anymore. 😢 this dauphine style in particular is very Underwhelming to me! TY for this honest review! Super helpful! 💕

I forgot to mention LV has a new Diane nano up! Newly released I pre-ordered mine 2 weeks ago. It’s a beautiful shade of pink also has a leather strap that’s adjustable glad they didn’t put a bulky guitar strap. The color is rose opal and the price is reasonable for today. Size looks decent too 7.5x4.1x2.4 not bad!
I can picture the noise with the chain when walking into work like you mentioned. Sort have to tip toe. Lol. (I would do the same by holding the chain) The compartments totally give pochette metis which was your first rec! Similar minds. Love all your recommendations as well. ❤

You should definitely get rid of the Louis Vuitton one and get the Gucci Diana! It’s a bummer that your LV is getting the way it is. It makes it look cheap. I’ve been eyeing the Gucci one, it’s so pretty.
Many people who bought dauphine complained about the upper cover going up and the magnetic is too strong as you said.

I never liked this style. It seems older lady,and the strap looks cheap. I like a regular adjustable strap LV gives with some other bags. I’ve had the pochette Métis I purchased from the boutique 2017 still looks great and the strap is so comfy.Curious if you tried it on before purchase. I know you mentioned it was pre-loved. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🩷
Very true, I’m not a fan of the semi adjustable strap. I never did try it on & tbh I’m not sure why I didn’t… It probably would’ve steered me away if I had 😂💗
Is the chain light or heavy? I’m concerned it will bother my shoulder.
