Good for her. I am happy she knew she was going to reject him and paid half. That is the way it should be. I think he is too into his partying ways and getting sloshed for a relationship. He seemed a bit slow as well.
Ugh! Don't confuse materiality or difference. I see major immaturity red flags in her too. Being 22 and wanting to go out clubbing is perfectly normal.
They would have made a cute couple, but she's way more mature than him. I thought she was very attractive, with a an interesting personality. I'm sure she should have no problem finding a suitable man.
She's a cutie pie. Like she said she needs someone with a bit more drive and ambition. I would say an established man or one aggressively working towards those goals. I like that she plays sports but still has a warm and feminine personality.
Girls that age are so much more mature. He seems about 16. Says "sweet" too much. Not much going for him, really - no passions, likes to get drunk and throw up, sleep a lot, live at home with Mom. Next!!!!!!
Talk about a maturity gap! While I think being highly competitive in a relationship can be exhausting, he just seemed like a somewhat genial cipher. He may grow out of that, but then again, he may not.
Just because someone has not had a girlfriend until they are not 22 surely is not more of a problem than someone who has had numerous at the same age just shows that one is not rushed and the other more desperate
her previous boyfriend seems to have made a big impression on her. i wonder if this will make it harder for future boyfriends to live up to the standard the 1st boyfriend set.
In other First Date franchises, I watch hoping to see something romantic, with the possibility of a future. On FDNZ, I usually just cringe and feel bad for everyone!! 20 and 22, no chemistry, no interesting conversation. Just because they filmed the date doesn't mean they have to air it.
He needs to mature a bit and get some experience under his belt. He was so child-like during the date that there is no way a self-motivated woman would have accepted THAT.
It's perfectly fine living the life he's living if he can support himself and is not a burden to anyone! most people with "Motivation' & "Passion" are just gonna end up disappointed behind a desk pushing paper anyway!
I find the commenters calling the gentlemen immature to be projecting. In fact, expecting your partner to 'entertain' you is probably the most childish view there is. Your partner should spend time with you because they want to, not because you demand it. Even if the woman's sole reason for rejecting him was because of ambition, which I highly doubt it was, she would still have to justify why her goals are superior to his goals. That would require an answer to the 'meaning of life' which I'm sure her engineering degree can't provide her. You're welcome for the boost to your algorithm First Dates.
She’s acting as though she is almost done with her college years and is serious about transitioning into a more mature phase of her life. All of that going out, drinking and partying will not matter in the long-run and prove to have been a waste of money. Plus, the fact that he classifies himself as a mommy’s boy shows how he needs to mature a bit.
A woman - ( Beauty Queen or Plain Jane ) can always find a relationship or have a 1 night stand pretty much anytime of the day / night . A lot more of a struggle for a man if he is not a Brad Pitt / Chad.
This was good match making. She's a civil engineer & he's a builder. The engineers I know seem to be very intelligent, hopefully these two are. There was a shift in energy after Michael said the crude pickup line. It may have been better to have chosen one that was milder or not said one at all. Olivia seems to be so guarded. Maybe it would be better if she did some further healing from having her heart broken before dating again.
to be fair to olivia, I just don't think this guy was her type. he wasn't very ambitious or interesting. she seemed to carry most of the conversations. they just seems to have 2 completely different personalities. i think she has healed, but the 1st boyfriend has obviously had a big impact on her and has set the bar high, so her future boyfriends will have to rise to the occasion.
@@marriagecausesdivorce7540 A better choice could be for Olivia to remain single, enjoy being productive in her career, building an investment portfolio, enjoying life. What is supposed to happen will find a way.

Went to school with him. Definitely on the money there. Kid was an absolute drongo at school. Used to get called a drip by chicks all the time
That’s unfortunate, hopefully he stays off the drink and finds a passion that can give him a new life
That’s always a strong indicator a girl would reject you is if she really insists to split the bill.
At least they recognized that they weren’t a match, it seemed fairly mutual in that regard.
She's too mature for him. He's still a boy, and she's ready for a man.

I don’t think so, he has a lot of growing up to do.

💯% nailed it. she needs someone who is a bit more dynamic, interesting, ambitious and driven. this guy was a bit too laid back for her.
She reminds me of Helen Hunt in "As good as it gets" :)
Getting on in years 22😂😂😂21 you become an adult.

He sat at the table and acted like a rwo year old never engaged in conversation
That pickup line and on a first date 🤣
Larry Weels enjoyer be like:
Just because someone has not had a girlfriend until they are not 22 surely is not more of a problem than someone who has had numerous at the same age just shows that one is not rushed and the other more desperate
The girl said: "After my last relationship, i feel like it's hard to fall in love again". Yet, she is 20 😂
her previous boyfriend seems to have made a big impression on her. i wonder if this will make it harder for future boyfriends to live up to the standard the 1st boyfriend set.
@@marriagecausesdivorce7540 True!
That was her first relationship, so she likely was crushed, depending on what exactly happened.

He reminds me of a kid I was friends with growing up named Bill Walker who was kinda off. he looks and acts like him.
He needs to mature a bit and get some experience under his belt. He was so child-like during the date that there is no way a self-motivated woman would have accepted THAT.
If hes gettting on at 22 then im dead at 47
Guys don't want to compete with a woman about a bunch of things big or small. It's irritating and exhausting.
Guy like him have no motivation that’s why they don’t have a relationship.😪😪😪😪😪😪
Not only he didn’t have a passion but when asked what he would like to do he said sleep.

@@manilkasheran2934 yeah but we were talking about being desirable
I didn't get the pickup line lol 😭
It was an extremely honest one.
Like this date, it isn't worth repeating, lol!!
You’re not missing anything. Why you would say that on a first date is mind-boggling.

They are cute but not a match ☺️🤷♀️good luck to them 🤞🌞
We don't like everyone and neighter everyone likes us, that's Life ☺️

Lots of drinking and taco Tuesday with mom

The guy is handsome..i mean model handsome but not aware of it.

Although Michael is an airhead. Its unfair to judge somebody with mediocre looks and subpar personality for not having a relationship.
