Hey Guys, first of all I did not expect this video to blow up like that and ive read all of the comments and i gotta say if i had a dollar for evrytime someone mentioned headphones HAHA But currently working on that so i can get the best experience possible and i have to to say thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to watch my video it really means a whole lot!!
Se aprecia el impecable trabajo de los ingenieros de sonido. Ellos hacen q no nos perdamos ni un solo sonido d este viaje sideral. Abrazo desde Buenos Aires
This is the wrong video , you must WATCH the Pulse video with Pink Floyd playing Comfortably Numb , Never Ever talk or pause during a David Gilmore solo other you will get not present comments 😂
Not once but twice you interrupted the best guitar solo ever. You then cut it short!! You need to go back to appreciation classes and get in tune with your inner being 😮😮
He's only 23. My favourite part is when he's 73 & watching a 23 year olds first reaction to pink floyd after he's listened to them for 50 years. Welcome to the machine bro 😂
Check out the LIVE version of Comfortably Numb at the PULSE CONCERT. The extended guitar solo and spectacular light show combine for an unforgettable performance.
Pink Floyd is Legendary man, one of the GOATs in Rock music history, one of the top 3 Rock Bands in history! They've sold hundreds of millions of albums worldwide since the band was formed in 1964. Too much pausing for Pink Floyd music, their music speaks to a person's soul, it's a trance like feeling that shouldn't be interrupted, too often. Pausing should be kept at a minimum when reaction to Pink Floyd, oh, and,... Never, ever, EVER, pause or talk over a David Gilmour guitar solo!
Definitely to wound up. Needs to calm down some. I understand being excited but chill. My husband was a senior in high school when this came out. Listened to it thousands of times. If you haven't heard it yet. Listen to Wish You Were Here. Also from the Pulse Concert. Also suggest like several other people. Don't interrupt so much. Listen and let the music and lyrics sink in. Don't interrupt A David Gilmour solo. Eventually you'll have to listen to the whole Pulse Concert. Also the one from Pompeii.
I was 14 when i first heard pink floyd 51years ago. Welcome to the best band ever. Try echoes at pompey live about 53years old you will be blown away you really will
Pink Floyd are eternal. Watch the entire Pulse concert, recorded at Earls Court in London in 1994. I was there and I don't think i'll ever get over it, I mean how can you top perfection?
I know everyone is screaming headphones....but seriously, back in our day we had tower speakers, quadraphonic sound and you not only got lost in the music but you felt everything in your bones too. Headphones are great, but it would never compare to being blown away with the volume needle bending on the pin.
I bought my first Pink Floyd album in 1969 (Ummagumma) and saw them live in 1971 and 4 more times after that. For me This is the BEST band of all times. Now I'm 71 years old and still listen to them everyday.
"I'm only 23 years old bro!" Dude, every time it hits the chorus with David Gilmore people's faces melt off, then his guitar solo blows their heads up!!! Great reaction :D
You can't stop it during a David Gilmore gautar solo. But everyone is right you need headphones for pink floyd. If you liked that you need to react to the pulse concert the great gig in the sky. No words and will leave you speechless
Pink Floyd is not just a band...listening quickly transcends into a deeply personal, spiritual and philosophical journey. For 20th century rock, Pink Floyd's incredible music, and their stage shows, became the gold standard by which all others were measured, and likewise with Sir David Gilmour's searing soaring soulful Strat solos. Their catalogue is simply the most amazing music you'll ever experience, and Comfortably numb, is a great jumping off point.
I subscribed because it’s nice to see black people discovering great rock music. Nirvana,Guns n Roses,Montley Crüe, metallica, Tom petty, many many more. Small list for you brother. One more CCR
This is a fantastic track, but the live Pulse concert version is at least 10 levels above it… One of the best live performances of all time! You haven’t heard this until you’ve heard that👍
The studio version of Great Gig In The Sky from the DSM album is far better than any of the live versions. But Comfortably Numb from the Pulse 1994 concert is better than the studio cut.
This album took months to record. April to November 1979. When I was 14. The Floyd master all instruments and many othet equipment. Not their first. It goes back in the early 70s. The Wall was the best selling Floyd album since The Dark Side of the Moon. I to this day still hear The Pink Floyd after 44 years.
Born in 1962 - we did have the BEST music! We were so blessed but you are, too - you can enjoy just like I did! I'll enjoy going on that journey with you.
This 60 year old says if you only ever listen to one more Floyd song then make that song, TIME from the album, The Dark Side Of The Moon and please use headphones for best effect, you'll hear so much more. All the best from the far north of New Zealand. Edit: Subbed
Hi. 70s baby here. My childhood was filled with the Platters, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Elvis, The Beatles, The Supremes, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, ELO, Queen, Bob Marley, The Bee Gees. I was blessed beyond belief. Just listen to everything. Give it all a chance. I promise you will find things that you never expected to like. ❤❤❤
I love your perspective on this tune. Ol man here. Like born in the 50’s. Check out their live performance video ( From the Pulse album) N turn it up! I’ve seen em live in the way back .As a lil kid I liked RnB Motown n the like, this blew my mind . Live they were a trip, trip doesn’t even come close to describing what I witnessed. I’m blessed to have lived through this music. Thank you for sharing your experience.
The 70's were killer for little kids like you wouldn't believe. I heard Floyd in 1979 but can remember everything from that era in music and entertainment like it was yesterday from 1975-79. Just insane!
it was made in 1979, I was there as a 15y.o stoned in my bedroom listening to this lol Also saw the Pulse tour in Sydney in the 90's I will never forget it.
Get into their "Dark Side of the Moon album".... it was ONLY in the Top 10 favorite albums somewhere in the world for 10 years! I don't think that's EVER been topped.
Bro... I remember when this album came out. LIstened to it one night at age 16 on an old 4-way surround sound system. Knocked me out of my body. You gots to sit back, with a whiskey, in a recliner, and listen to the entire album from beginning to end, some Saturday evening. Will tear your frick'n head off.
If your new to Pink Floyd start with :- Pink Floyd "Money" AUDIO ONLY VERSION from the album The Dark Side of the Moon NOT the official video as that's a cut down radio version
Luv your reaction ma dude. Very appropriate. Pink Floyd are just timeless. My uncle was a massive fan in the 80s and would play to me as young as I can remember been a fan all this time. Ooft the guitars solos in this track puts the hairs on end.
This album was released in 1973, the year I was born. It's absolutely timeless and will be listened too for as long as mankind exists!! Btw, this album is the greatest album ever released and Pink Floyd is easily the GOAT and it's not even close!
Hi Skotty407 welcome to Pink Floyd ,probably the best group in the world ,glad you now have experienced whatvwe all rave on about ,ive subscribed to your channel just now because of your appreciation of this group😊
Here's another $1, you should get headphones for Pink Floyd. Glad you liked it. It shows that you have good taste; you gives me hope for the future of the world
Now listen to this song on P.U.L.S.E. - the 1994 live show. The guitar solo is arguably the greatest recorded. The song pulls you in, and when the second solo starts, your senses and emotions are assaulted non-stop for the better part of 6 minutes, and it hurts so good.
Never listen just 1 song, ALWAYS listen a hole album because every album is 1 story from beginning to the end. Pink Floyd will give you years of galactic musical experience that you will listen for the rest of your life, do it, you wont regret it
You are wrong. The album cover on the screen is The Dark Side of the Moon, which is from 1973. But the song playing is Comfortably Numb from the album The Wall, which came out in 1979.
You must see Pink Floyd "Echoes Part One"- Live at Pompeii 1971. Oh, and for the love of all that is Holy, put headphones on; it is only half of Pink Floyd without.
Old guy here. Welcome to higher reality. lol,.. check out the live version of this from ten years ago, last time they played it. In Germany. Pulse concert... rock on kid.
Pink Floyd is in a class of their own, but as someone who was listening to this music in the 70's, may I suggest Steely Dan (Deacon Blues), Supertramp (Even in the Quietest Moments), Led Zeppelin (Stairway to Heaven)... to name a few. For your next Pink Floyd, listen to something completely unexpected, The Great Gig in the Sky. Be sure to do the studio version by Clare Torry. If her vocals don't touch your soul, you don't have one. Next, do Time, the song right before Great Gig on the Dark Side of the Moon album. Be sure to listen to the lyrics. That entire album should ideally be listened to one complete side at a time. Pink Floyd did theme albums. Not just a random collection of songs. Enjoy your trip down the rabbit hole into the Pink Floyd universe.
I do agree with all of the above. I'd add Don McLean "Starry Starry Night (Vincent)", Leonard Cohen "Dance Me (To the End Of Love)", "Future", "Anthem", and of course "Hallellujah". As for Pink Floyd, I'd suggest reacting to two songs in a row - "Time" and "Great Gig In the Sky". These two are tied together by meaning, and it's impossible to understand the meaning of Great Gig without understanding Time.
FYI, people will freak if you interrupt a guitar solo!!! imho, The only acceptable interruption to a guitar solo would be your girlfriend calling, she was super cute!!! You are in for quite a journey as you listen to more and more '60-70's Rock n' Roll, it's gonna continue to blow your mind!!!👌👌👍👍✌✌😁😁 Enjoy the ride
I'm sure other fans will be saying this but check out the live version of this at 'Pulse'. The guitar solo is a full solo, and blasts the roof off the place! I dug your reaction, to use a retro euphonism! Pink Floyd is all they say they are, and more. The Meddle album is full of gems. If you want to really mellow out, try my fav P.F. song 'A Pillow of Winds', from the Meddle album.
You have to understand that The Pink Floyd practically invented sampling, but did it when EVERYTHING was done on actual tape. So the mixes you hear were done by hand, splicing tape together to run through a recorder. Hell, they invented a machine to do these weird sounds live!
Sow up to your boys house with a Pink Floyd shirt on. They may laugh and ask why you are listening to a "hippie band." You will smile and know the power of Pink Floyd.
Really glad you like it; it is some of the best music around. Try: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, The Eagles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin Molly Hatchett, Bob Seger, Meat Loaf and others.
We had the best music in the 70s! You really need to listen to Pink Floyd's masterpiece the "Dark Side of the Moon" album from 1973. This album should be listened to from start to finish as all the tracks run into the next. Put on some headphones. Turn down the lights and let yourself drift off into musical bliss from this magical album.

You NEED headphones for Pink Floyd. Trust me on that.
Yes. Yes. And thrice times YES!
. . . and a few other accessories.
Completely necessary.
Yes. Over the ear headphones are essential for a quality Pink Floyd experience.
Herbal enhancement is also recommended.
Real headphones not earbuds are a must for Pink Floyd to be enjoyed properly
The 70s really was the best era for music and Pink Floyd is legitimately one of the best bands that's ever been. Happy listening.
HEADPHONES and PINK FLOYD make a perfect combination.
He's only 23. My favourite part is when he's 73 & watching a 23 year olds first reaction to pink floyd after he's listened to them for 50 years. Welcome to the machine bro 😂

Oh my young friend. Take it from a guy who grew up buzzed or high listening to this... You've only scratched the surface.
I subscribed because it’s nice to see black people discovering great rock music. Nirvana,Guns n Roses,Montley Crüe, metallica, Tom petty, many many more. Small list for you brother. One more CCR
Grew up as a huge Pink Floyd fan and your reaction was worth the sub. Keep it up. Great video.
Yeah you right. I was born in ‘71. We had some great music. I’m glad you’re getting into it.
Get yourself a girl who says “Like comment and subscribe” and dips when you tell her you’re recording 😍
Dude stands up with commentary, gets back to the song and you hear "Can you stand up? I do believe it's working - good".
This is a fantastic track, but the live Pulse concert version is at least 10 levels above it… One of the best live performances of all time! You haven’t heard this until you’ve heard that👍
No it's not! Nothing beats originals.
@@bigdave1302 Nonsense! 30 years of practice by the original artist beats originals every time
But the vocals in the pulse version SUCK... David's part is... well he IS David Gilmour.
Listening to the original Wall album in it's entirety several times is recommended.
The studio version of Great Gig In The Sky from the DSM album is far better than any of the live versions. But Comfortably Numb from the Pulse 1994 concert is better than the studio cut.
Love this young blood's appreciation for music for all ages
Pink Floyd is more than music it’s a spiritual experience!
They are bad ass...many good choices... this is awesome choice!!!!
a floydian is born.
Production in the 70's was the pinnacle!

My boys all hyped. Toke up and listen to the whole album by yourself no interruptions DarkSide of the Moon.
Only 23, reminded me that I was only 18 when I caught the show at Nassau Coliseum 27 Feb 1980. Floyd Rules.

Another live band you need to check out if you haven't already is Rush. Just 3 guys and .....WOW
Now it time to listen to the live version . Pulse 😊
You haven't heard Pink Floyd until you use headphones!
Ha ha, as a seventies baby, I didn't discover Pink Floyd until the 90's.
Yeah Bro, every form of music has their emotional artistic bands and they are usually the best
60s and 70s was an epic time for music. Great time to live through and still listening to pink Floyd to this day👍🔥

No, it was actually in 1973 ! But keep in mind you are now listening to one of the Top FIVE Rock groups of ALL time

Best way to listen to Floyd is lay on the floor, darken the room, place the stereo speakers on each ear, close your eyes and enjoy the trip
You must see Pink Floyd "Echoes Part One"- Live at Pompeii 1971. Oh, and for the love of all that is Holy, put headphones on; it is only half of Pink Floyd without.
You need to hear this but the P.U.L.S.E concert 1994. David Gilmours guitar solos are spectacular and the light show is mind blowing.
Old guy here. Welcome to higher reality. lol,.. check out the live version of this from ten years ago, last time they played it. In Germany. Pulse concert... rock on kid.
This album to its day is still the top rated selling album of all time
Thank you for listening to the original
back then you could listen to the Radio for hours and it would just be one hall of fame song after another
Hell yah we had the BEST music! And its been covered and sampled...alot...

60's babies were old enough to enjoy PF!
Pink Floyd are brilliantly different.
You absolutely must have headphones! You are missing so much that you ONLY get from headphones. You will not believe the difference! 😍

Great reaction! Been a Floyd fan since I recognized them in the 70s.... Dark side of the moon. Highly recommended!
Watch out: asking of Pink Floyd "Are they really good though...?!" can land you in jail in some countries of the civilized world...
Pink Anderson and Floyd Counsel,....'Pink Floyd'. See who they are.
Really glad you like it; it is some of the best music around. Try: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, The Eagles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin Molly Hatchett, Bob Seger, Meat Loaf and others.
Pink Floyd must be listened to in an "altered state of mind"
Ok that’s twice you stopped the soul. Peace out young blood.
What Pink Floyd needed on this track I’ve only just realised is a lot of ‘yo’
We had the best music in the 70s! You really need to listen to Pink Floyd's masterpiece the "Dark Side of the Moon" album from 1973. This album should be listened to from start to finish as all the tracks run into the next. Put on some headphones. Turn down the lights and let yourself drift off into musical bliss from this magical album.
I was lucky enough to see them live 3 times, along with many other greats from the era. I may be old but these tracks bring me right back to my youth.
