They can definitely wreak havoc!
If you want to try and get it to light without the carb on it and all that good stuff take a small amount gas and pour it into the each of the cylinders through the plug holes and it should go if the timing is correct. Hope to see more great videos soon.
In my opinion I would have pulled the head off just to check if anything is in the cylinders. Granted you will be doing a complete overhaul but never know what is in the cylinder. It may cause damage to the head. Thanks for sharing. Again just my opinion. You do you. Good luck!

I dont know what is about them 300's and 350's but they are sound like the starter is about to fly all to hell....even the new ones sound that way
Yeah they definitely sound gritty!
Seems to be turning over too slow with that battery. I bet it will start if you jump it with another.
It progressively got slower due to some internal drag, video will be out shortly with the findings! Yeah it was a combination of internal issues, bad starter, bad grounds and wrong battery cables he had on it that put a hurting on the battery!
