This contrivance, together with many others (like the fact that she didn't grab her money bag from a burning building despite having enough time to) really make it harder to get immersed. If people wanted to play as an unlikable dimwit then YIIK would be a bestseller.

When the cutscene ended and all the UI elements came back into view, suddenly this game looked like every other AAA open world game released in the past five or so years. And the body motion felt like that of a puppet on string rather than a smooth animation which we usually see on other games.
