  • Today I'm sharing my heart for our homeschooling vision and some of my 2022-2023 homeschool intentions. I am so thankful for our homeschool journey and wanted to reflect on our homeschool experience so far and share my 2022-2023 homeschool hopes. Everyone's homeschooling journey is different, but as I share my heart and homeschool reflections, I hope you get a peek into what what homeschooling has meant for my family and how it has changed our lives for the better. As part of my homeschool vision plan for the 2022-2023 homeschool year, I'll be sharing our homeschool verse of the year. Our homeschool plan for the year is so much more than academics and curriculum, and I don't take for granted this homeschool life.
Have you felt called to homeschool? Do you have a homeschool vision statement or verse to keep you grounded through the year? Let's chat in the comments!

I love this video! I always wanted to homeschool, but was so scared I wouldn't be able to do it. Once the pandemic hit I realized homeschool was my best option. My children were in 1st and 3rd grade when schools closed. I feel like this is the Lord's plan for me. I feel like this is what he wanted me to do all along. I'm so blessed that I am able to homeschool. I don't have any friends or family that homeschool. I love your videos. It's so nice to hear from other homeschool mama's.

I was tearing up hearing about your daughter asking you to homeschool her. What a gift! Our first year homeschooling was 2019-2020. Once the pandemic started I was oh so thankful that I had already started. Even though all that was hard, it wasn’t as hard because we were already home. I was very thankful for that.
I love your verse for the year! That’s my husband’s favorite verse. I may have to bring that in this year. ❤️
Blessings to you and your family! 😊

I needed this this morning. I have a strong faith and my husband does as well believes public school is well. Please pray for me to open his heart to homeschooling. I’m sharing your video with him because you hit all the points I want for my family with schooling from home.

I love that you were able to come into the world of homeschooling, I so appreciate all that you have to share with the homeschool community. It's not only affected your family, it's been helpful for all of us that can get a glimpse into your homeschool and benefit from what you have to share!

Thank you so much for this post. My husband suggested we
try to homeschool over twenty years ago after reading a book from the library about it. We now have two graduates and a15,14,and 9 year old. We had no idea then how much homeschooling would change our lives for the better. I loved hearing how grateful you are. There will be hard times, but this decision will see you through. God knew what we needed. When I was diagnosed with MS at 29 it was such a gift not to have to get my children up and ready so early. Our homeschool started on my time, not the school's. That's just one small reason I'm so glad we became homeschoolers. My favorite reason is how close our children and family are. I loved watching your excitement and gratitude. Remember to watch this video in difficult times to remind yourself about what a gift this is.🤗

Love when we hear God calling us to do something! For us, homeschooling has been an absolute sacrifice. Things are getting more stable now, but the last few years were rough surviving on one income, then almost no income, and very uncertain about the future. But I wouldn’t change that sacrifice for anything. It has been worth it.

I really appreciate your outlook. We homeschooled for years. I truly loved it. Due to circumstances beyond my control, my ministry of homeschool is gone unexpectedly…poof. It grieves me to think about but I know the Lord will provide through all seasons. 🤍 our homeschool was called Garlands of Grace based on Proverbs 4. You’re doing amazing things mama. 💕

This video was so encouraging! I wasn't sure if I would be able to homeschool because in 2018 I developed a chronic illness. Last year we decided to try homeschooling knowing that if it was catastrophic that we could change our minds. It definitely had challenging days and days we took off for my fatigue. I came out of that year full of gratitude for how much I enjoyed homeschooling despite it being a big challenge. The things you love are worth working hard for. Now having a good year behind me I feel way more excited for this second year of homeschooling. Like you said, I can't imagine sending my kids away for eight hours every weekday.
So glad I found your channel!

Love this! We hadn’t chosen a yearly Bible verse… but now I’m wondering if we should 😊 I know exactly what I’d choose: Ephesians 4:32
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Do you just discuss it periodically during your morning time or how to you incorporate it? Being intentional and savoring the moments are very evident in your video 😊
