Sunset Surfing in Cleveland Ohio | Lake Erie | 6/30/2024

6/30/2024 brought a very rare swell that lasted all day. I spent most of the day checking different spots along the coast and ended the day at my home break and there were at least 15 - 20 people out in the cove. Most of the people in the line asked me where my GoPro was and I really didn't feel like taking it out until the sun peaked through the clouds maybe 30 minutes before sunset. So I decided to get it back out and this is what it looked like. The air temp was in the low 70°s F and the water temp is also in the low 70°s F. Waves were knee to waist high. With winds North to NorthEast. I've switched from the Hyperview to Super view on the GoPro. I've found that the Hyperview works best on the board mount vs the bite mount.
I was practicing cross stepping and a little nose riding, it's very twitchy but it's progress. Enjoy and as always thanks for watching!

@@hammah_santana1013 or what you guys consider to be cold. Last year when I went to cocoa beach in February and it was about 73°, I wasn't wearing a wetsuit while everyone else was in 3mm neoprene
