When I was that young my mom bought me new clothes shoes etc… from a skate shop cause I started gettin into skateboarding, Tony hawk at the time. A teachers aide, a girl, said oh I love your outfit you look so cute. That moment still lives on in me. I’ve never forgotten that. I’m 32 years old and I still wear skate clothes and that’s it lol

It remained one of my favorite shirts to wear, that I always took care of until, easily, more than 10-15 years later when it had become so faded and some of the material got worn so thin that the material finally just gave out. Since I’d always taken good care of it because of that, it still looked fine even as it faded so much. Starting out something like a Coral color button up shirt and ended around more of a light peachy pink. It gathered one other memorable compliment from a stranger over its lifetime that also gave a little boost. I’m sure some people look at that and think it’s stupid or silly but it’s true. You never know when something so small could really stick with someone and make a memorable moment.
As a woman I think you’ve got it all wrong. I have never forgotten the genuine compliments I’ve received and sometimes they’re all I’ve got to remind myself I’m worthwhile. Man, I know that feeling. I was in a dark place this time last year. Missed out on a promising new job, moved home with my parents and one of my best friends took his own life. One of my good friends who I hadn’t seen in a while invited me golfing and told me that although things aren’t going my way, he was still happy to have me back home. I held it together for the remainder of the time we hungout, but as soon as I got in my car, I lost it. I was feeling so down and it just felt so good to hear someone say that to me.

I got this. Don’t let em see you down like this.” Then we wipe our faces off with some water, dry it off, and walk back out of the room with a big smile as if we didn’t just get folded up like a note being passed in HS.

At my new job I've been working super hard, showing up early, staying busy, staying late, our job offers like 70%+ off the gym membership and I'm a former body builder *had 2 stomach surgeries in sept 2022 but kept my huge muscle body* anyways I was out of work to recover for like 8 months and found this new job where I'm 2 maybe 3 times bigger than everyone else (large Native American) and the smaller people I work with I help lift their heavy metal work and I recently learned most people at work look up to me and I'm battling depression and anxiety and I have like 30+ people that literally look up to me because I'm strong and taller than most folks here. And this brought me to tears 😢😅 I asked what people thought of me to the Spanish speaking lady and she told me everyone loves and adores me and looks up to me and it damn mad me cry because I've had a horrible past history of being hurt, and abandoned by my family. I left and went to the bathroom to have a little cry of joy and regain composure. Doc helped me and I thought of him and this video ❤❤

I think most people can agree that they can get on their own nerves sometimes. Anytime someone does something that they themselves perceived as a stupid thing to do (they're not-at-all necessarily a stupid person, they just probably did something without thinking too much about it in the moment; these two things simply aren't the same thing, everyone, including people on the level of Einstein's intelligence, have done some pretty stupid things in their lives). Doc was likely being 100% genuine about him getting on his own nerves every once-in-a-while, and I really respect that level of honesty and self-awareness. TL;DR Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone does stupid things sometimes, so everyone likely gets on their own nerves sometimes. I respect Doc being honest and Self-aware about it.
It does wonders just to shower sincerity and the fact that the guy didn't hesitate to even say he loves the doc shows how genuine he was when saying it the first time.

But I don't think its necessarily about anything going on at home, as much as hearing all your hard work that you put into something paying off, especially if you may have been having a bit of doubt from seeing negative comments like he tested him with by saying "he can be a little annoying" probably fully expecting to hear something like "yeah maybe a little, but..." but hearing a random person telling you how much they appreciate you and what you do is a pretty emotional thing to some people, especially to creative people, artist, and even perfectionists... Bro was going through something rough, and really needed to hear that. Dude came through for him, when he didn’t have it in him to come through for himself. That, to me, is one of the most beautiful parts about the way that life works in all of its mystery and glory. Sometimes, you can’t find it in yourself to get up, but there’s just that one person that seems to come along, miraculously so, at the perfect time, and when you are screaming with your face in the dirt, arms sore, eyes blinded from the dirt, and tears, and you’re cursing the skies, so loud it’s silent… and then you realize someone is picking you up, and dragging you along the finish line, with no expectation or care about whether or not you pay them back in any way for it. They were just another person taking part in the race that was passing you, and decided that it was worth their time and effort to stop, and help you. It’s even more beautiful, like in the case of this video, when they have no idea they’re doing it, Life just put them there so you could over hear them telling someone how much they appreciate your existence, and you get the drive back on your own from the feeling of that alone.

I think most people can agree that they can get on their own nerves sometimes. Anytime someone does something that they themselves perceived as a stupid thing to do (they're not-at-all necessarily a stupid person, they just probably did something without thinking too much about it in the moment; these two things simply aren't the same thing, everyone, including people on the level of Einstein's intelligence, have done some pretty stupid things in their lives). Doc was likely being 100% genuine about him getting on his own nerves every once-in-a-while, and I really respect that level of honesty and self-awareness.
TL;DR Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone does stupid things sometimes, so everyone likely gets on their own nerves sometimes. I respect Doc being honest and Self-aware about it.

@lasthumankind I'd say far from a break down... I'm sure we've all seen an actual emotional break down, but we all got different options. But I don't think its necessarily about anything going on at home, as much as hearing all your hard work that you put into something paying off, especially if you may have been having a bit of doubt from seeing negative comments like he tested him with by saying "he can be a little annoying" probably fully expecting to hear something like "yeah maybe a little, but..." but hearing a random person telling you how much they appreciate you and what you do is a pretty emotional thing to some people, especially to creative people, artist, and even perfectionists... A genuine random acknowledgement and or praise is kinda hard to come across nowadays let alone on the internet, let alone in a fps game lobby. Either way it's still pretty cool and refreshing to see some real emotion from the people we watch on here. Definitely made me respect him a little more for sure. ✌🏾

Bro was going through something rough, and really needed to hear that. Dude came through for him, when he didn’t have it in him to come through for himself. That, to me, is one of the most beautiful parts about the way that life works in all of its mystery and glory. Sometimes, you can’t find it in yourself to get up, but there’s just that one person that seems to come along, miraculously so, at the perfect time, and when you are screaming with your face in the dirt, arms sore, eyes blinded from the dirt, and tears, and you’re cursing the skies, so loud it’s silent… and then you realize someone is picking you up, and dragging you along the finish line, with no expectation or care about whether or not you pay them back in any way for it. They were just another person taking part in the race that was passing you, and decided that it was worth their time and effort to stop, and help you.
It’s even more beautiful, like in the case of this video, when they have no idea they’re doing it, Life just put them there so you could over hear them telling someone how much they appreciate your existence, and you get the drive back on your own from the feeling of that alone.
