Great video! I special ordered a 70 GT, only options the 6 pack and wood steering wheel, When it was delivered it had the full cloth bench seat, and the dealer claimed it had a "showroom" paint job. When it came off the truck someone on the assembly line had put "Go get em" in soap{?} on the inside of the rear window. It was blue inside and out, with the white GT stripe, which was reflective. It also had the limited slip differential and 3.23 gear. The entire rear housing was replaced under warranty because of a bad weld that leaked grease , so I had a 3.55 gear installed when the housing was swapped. I still have the 3.23 ring and pinion.
Thank you and thanks for sharing your Fury GT story! I find it amazing you are one of 60 something people to order this car with the 440 Six Barrel brand new! It also makes you a rare person! Do you have any pictures of the car? If so, I would love to see them, maybe email them to me? Thanks again!
When they were 8 or 10 years old in upstate NY they were usually rusty and could be had pretty cheap. In 77 I bought a 69 383 for $200. The owner thought the rear end was shot. It tuned out to be 2 different size tires.
@@ultimatemusclecar I read somewhere that it was an option and I saw one on UA-cam. They said it was a rare option. Of course that doesn't mean it's true, but such a big car with 440 would definitely be cool with a 4 speed.
I am not a big fan of "Blue", but this shade is gorgeous. My neighbor has a new Dodge Charger Hellcat in a shade of blue very similar to this Sport Fury.
Definitely not something you see everyday. Sometimes I get excited about a particular car but then realize it’s a clone. They’re nice too but not the real deal. Thank you.

Childhood memories...
Thanks for sharing.
Those Fury II coupes were by far the sexiest of the GIANT 2 door muscle cars.
My God that car has testosterone written aaaaaall over it!
That’s a good way to describe it.
@@ultimatemusclecar It's the truth!
Definitely!
Beautiful car! I never knew a 6 barrel was available in a fury. One downside, no A/C on a 6 Barrel! Bill from Linglestown Pennsylvania
Hi Bill. Thank you!
Back in the day the Fury was my favorite car
Nice car. Did you ever buy one?

It turned out to be a great buy!
I would really like to have one with 4 speed. Very rare.
The 4-speed was not available on this car.

Oh that is a nice car. I had a 69 Fury 3 many years ago.
Nice! Thanks for sharing.

It looks good on this car with the black stripes. Thank you
Can you do one on the Sport Fury Brougham Sedan? Always thought that was a super cool, unique, jusxtaposition with wheels.
It's possible, they are super cool!
in a sea of hemi cars . clones ...... nice to something thats not at every car show

Ironically, the '71 Sport GTs had the high performnace 440 standard (370 hp)
👍🏻Yep but not the Six Barrel 🤷♂️
