Hi Bryce, why didn’t you use the dolly to take the plane off the scales?
The battery was charging, so I figured I'd just pull it by hand.
What is the brand/model of your weight scales?
I actually rented them but I'll find out and get back to you.
How is this done for narrow and wide body aircraft?
It's pretty much the same, actually. They will have way more scales and sometimes use jack points instead of tires for the arms. But instead of the table only being 3 weights like mine was It may be 6 or even 12.
How did you calculate the moment arms?
They were on the old weight and balance and correct. Normally you would level the aircraft drop a plum Bob from the datum then measure from there to the main and nose wheels. Then it's just WXA=M

IF THE AIRPLANE IS OFF LEVEL BY 10 DEGREES IT CAN THROW THE WHOLE WEIGHT AND BALANCE OFF SIGNIFIGANTLY EVEN OUT OF LIMITS!!!!!!!!!!!

Bro...good information, but difficult to see. You were casting a shadow on your notebook, the figures are too small to see easily, and the camera was not focused well on the notebook. I suggest a whiteboard or a large ipad with good lighting and clearly seen figures. The explanation was good, but this old fart couldn't make out what you were writing....and it was just frustrating for me. FYI
I know I do have a view finder on my camera so I didn't realize how hard things where to see until I was already editing the video. The lense was also smudged. My next channel investment is a better camera.
