- It's been a year since I lost my mom, Audrey. This past year has been a journey of grief, healing, and holding on to the precious memories we made together. In this video, I want to share some of those memories and celebrate the beautiful person she was.
From her infectious laughter to her unwavering support, my mother touched the lives of everyone around her, especially mine. If you're new to my channel, I'm thrilled to introduce you to this vibrant woman who meant the world to me. And to my regular viewers, I'm deeply grateful to have you join me on this heartfelt path down memory lane.

To hear the two of laugh together and that was with every visit, was a testimony of her love, pride and sheer delight in you.
I know with great love comes great grief and that will be with us until we are reunited..
I've lost my first born son and my beloved husband of 60 years , 2 years apart within the past 5 years and it seems like yesterday on some days.
She's still with you.
.look for the signs.
My husband comes to me in butterflies 🦋 and I feel his presence...which gives me comfort.
She lives again in these treasured videos..her essence comes through..thank God you had the years you had with her and I know you DID THANK HIM.

That really is true for anyone near and dear to our hearts, honestly…you just learn to carry on, somehow…the consolation is you know they’d want you to continue life…
I’m just going on 4 months next week since my Mom passed; a woman quite similar in temperament to Audrey. Her last years were spent in rather poor health however, which turned her life upside down as she was no longer able to be the independent woman she had been, yet still wanted to be. She has been fading away these past 5 years, but her death was still a shock in some ways, and in others we wonder how she was able to hold on as long as she did. The rhythm of my life has completely changed, yet I’m grateful for my family standing with me and my Lord who holds me up.

98 that is such a blessing and amazing, you should share your story about your dear mum. What is her outlook on life ? What does she eat ? What keeps her mind and physical health in good shape ? It would be really interesting. I think listening to older people is sooo valuable as they have been through a lot.

Mine is 92 and we are traveling in Europe this summer. It’s awful to lose a parent but one is blessed to have them a long time.

My mother didn't tell me how to live. She set an example which has informed my life to this day and I will always thank her for it.

I lost my mother in 2022 and we were extremely close even though I’m a strong independent man. It’s been very hard for me every day. But it’s all the good wonderful memories that I have of my mother that keeps me going. She is in my heart and soul. She is someone I think about every day and I talk to her because I don’t ever wanna forget her. May your mom and my mom continue to rest in peace.🌹
Very touching. When you reunite with her in heaven Dominique, it will be for eternity. Never again will you be separated from each other. Until then, she watches and cheers you on from above. She isn't pass tense (was), she "is" and living her best life. We grieve with hope🙏thank you for sharing her with us.

I so understand your loss. I lost my mom one month ago today. She passed away 4 days before her 96th birthday. I talked to her 3 times a day and saw her everyday. She is truly missed. Thank you for sharing this.
I'm sorry for your loss! It has been almost 6 years since my mom passed away (in September 2024 it will be 6 years). The pain of losing your Mom will diminish somewhat and you will always miss her but know that she is with you!

I've always felt such a connection with you and your mama. Like you, I'm an only child - and my mama and daddy were my dearest friends. Your mama like mine was our biggest fan. I, too, was a television anchor, and my mother would go into Macy's and into their TV department and turn every TV to my station when I was on. She was an actress and would light up every day with laughter and beauty. Mama, like Audrey, taught me style, makeup, and the joy of living life to the fullest. It's been years since Mama passed away, but as you, I'm sure - I hear her words every single day. My heart aches for you, but I send you wishes for so much joy and happiness. I was lucky enough to watch all of these clips in real time as so many who fell in love along the way with Audrey- she became a mother figure to us all. I paused and restarted this video so many times because of the unexpected emotions and grief and my heart goes out to this community and especially Dominique and her family.
