Madhya Pradesh state is a fantastic destination. You have wonderful forests (Panna, Bandavgarh Tiger reserves), fantastic forts (Gwalior), Palaces, Mysterious temples (Khajuraho), River valleys (Beda Ghat in Jabalpur which was mentioned by Swapnil), cool metropolis (Bhopal, Indore), Holy temples (Ujjain, Omkareshwar), Prehistoric stone-age caves (Bhimbetka), almost everything you could think of except a sea beach
I've been to a lot of places in Madhya Pradesh actually: Gwalior, Orchha, Khajuraho, Chitrakut, Mandu, Omkareshwar, Pachmarhi, etc. You can find videos of all those places on my channel, but some of them were a long time ago. Here's a really old one of Mandu, just a short clip: ua-cam.com/video/Bqyw2EIMaOg/v-deo.html
@@GabrielTravelerVideosI loved your Orchcha videos and the rest from that series. It was an underrated tourist place till you covered it. You unlocked the beauty of that region for tourists. Great work. ..
Super choice of flight listening there. Always a big Lush fan. Though having said that ... I do prefer Split (epic, cascading) and the early Gala (which was a compilation of earlier EPs, very jingly) - if you don't have those, I'm sure you do tho!
Another interesting vid, thank you Gab, I love travelling the world from my armchair !, much cheaper this way ! Thank you for doing the hard yards ! 😊😊😊
And just like that we are in Rajasthan! Ive been to Udaipur and Jaipur but this place, wow! Lets get into this! Love the music on this one,....I appreciate the traditional style of rooms over the new and modern. One of the best spots tradtionally I stayed at was in Varanasi, right down by the Ghats. Incredible stay I never slept so well, kinda felt like a Queen! Enjoy Gabriel!!
Hi Gabriel So glad to see you in Jaisalmer. I went there last year and absolutely fell in love with the landscape and desert beauty. Have a fabulous time in Jaisalmer 😊
How cool! I never heard of this city. OMG The textiles the textiles 🤩🤩🤩 The details in the architecture are stunning, too! That restaurant is so pretty. Love the colors - and you’re killing me with that delicious looking thali. 😋 This is gonna be awesome!
Thank you for this video. Rajasthan looks quite differently from the Indian Hymalayas. The diversity and the size make the charm of India. Of course, there are also other interesting factors, which stamp this country. Have a nice stay in Rajasthan and I am looking forward to watching your videos.
Again a great video. Very curious of the white stone showed by that nice guy you discuss with at the airport. If i remember well, there was also a place like this on the coast of Sicily. This earth is amazing. Have further safe travels.
Hi Gabriel, Amazing hillside fort exciting time to be there no overwhelming heat, and being there aren't many tourists you going to get a lot of attention. The fort itself is an architectural marvel. Just walking around there is an adventure. Without question just getting from those cold rooms is a big relief. Walking around the Himalayas prepares you for walking around sea level, it should be a cakewalk.
Near Jaisalmer there is a village full of musicians if you into it it's worth checking out. You spotted on your hike up the fort to your hotel. These are generational musicians. There great, great grand parents would have played for the royal court. The play using classical Indian instruments. Watching them preform is awesome. Specially being out in the That and then settling into a camp at night with the fire roaring and the musicians preforming. During its peak Jaisalmer was full of Indian Jain merchants who were very wealthy. 8n fact today the remaining Jain people all reside within the fort walls. Unfortunately Jaisalmer is now full of Muslims. Nothing against them but far too many are out to scam tourist. Good luck and enjoy.
Hello Gabriel welcome to India and Rajasthan hope you'll like it here. While you are in Jaisalmer do check out the Rajasthani Thali (full meal) in a restaurant named 'Desert Boy' it's delicious, also go out for a night under the stars where you can camp in the Thar desert away, a secluded and a very serene experience. You can get the details of under the stars from the staff at Desert Boy resturant. It was priced around 3000 for one person, a few years ago.
yes..i remember I used to have those thali of dal bati churma.... Gabriel might not like it as it is heavy food but he has to show it to viewers because those rajasthani thalis are unique. He should choose unlimited option and probably he can choose have light breakfast that day ! The one he had in "deserted" restaurant [ not 'Desert Boy'] was ordinary Rajasthani thali. But I feel Jaipur has more options and more cheaper.
Hi Gabriel, long time follower and her I’ve love this series so far. Was in this part of the work in 2017 and it was a favourite. Keep up the great work!!
Ive been to Jaisalmer in he early 90s and would love to go again. The fort seems nicely maintained than before and overall looks with more amenties and cafe eateries. The massive fort walls almost become a geometrically structured and chiselled mountain side! Absolutely a timeless wonder.
Glad you are in a little warmer location…Side note, just watched Ang Lee’s, “Life of Pi “ …What a beautiful movie with Indian characters and flavors, sounds, and colors of India. Ahh, the Universe within!
What an awesome place that I didn't even know about! The only problem with finishing one of your videos is the wait for the next one! I abosolutely can't wait to see more of The Golden city!
I am not sure whether Jaisalmer or Udaipur in Rajasthan is called the "City of Palaces" ...? The little I know the Bond movie starring Roger Moore was made in the Taj Palace hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan...by the way ...price per night stay at the Hotel Taj Palace hotel at Udaipur, Rajasthan is US $ 700 (perhaps in off season)...India's richest man Mukesh Ambani had booked the hotel for 2 weeks for his daughter's wedding
Hey Gabe , after so long I am watching Rajasthan. If, possible then please visit Udaipur also. I want to see my hometown through your journey. As I am missing in Taiwan. 😢 And must visit Kumbhalgarh fort festival too. ❤
Ram Ram Bhai. Go to the village where the bombs didn't explode when they landed in the temple it's not far from the border. Don't worry about the signs saying "No foreigner beyond this point" :)
Looks like you were staying really close to where I stayed back in 2018 in Delhi! Some good places to stay by that long overpass, slightly out of the way but close to the airport too!
As Harald Baldr coined the expression ''It's Gabriel 'High Roller' Traveler.'' Awesome running into a long time viewer at the airport and his giving you a good tip for a future adventure in Incredible India. I will most definitely look into Safar Guest House inside the fort during my upcoming travels in Rajastan. $10 bucks a night for a good room and decent internet speed is sweet. Thanks Gabe.
We only see" delhi /punjab"i food outside india and that too is limited like paneer dishes, chole baturey, dal makhani, chicken tikka etc or if it is south indian restaurant we see idli and dosa which is like 5-10% of Indian dish and quality is 50% off in taste.
Place worth checking out. Wish I had made it there, next time. KIRADU TEMPLES 35 km from Barmer, in a town located near the Thar Desert, are 5 temples known as the Kiradu Temples. Known for their Solanki style of architecture, these temples have remarkable and magnificent sculptures. These temples are dedicated to lord Shiva and of the five temples, Someshvara temple is the most remarkable.
Akshardham in Delhi is the place to see, better than Tajmahal is what I heard. Beautiful temples in and around Rajasthan, you need couple of weeks there, 3 days not enough.
11:25 one thing that drives me crazy is: we Indians don't give way to others when walking.. people walk as if it's their own road/sidewalk.. compare it with say Thailand: people walk in a single line or atleast give space to opposite walkers
sidewalk? where did you see that (in which city of India)? There is no concept of sidewalk in India..even if they had it is too narrow and occupied by vendors. The city infrastructure of any city is corrupted and also short of funds.
@@CharlieChaplinVideos But I see what you are pointing out. Even if cities build good infra, habits are not going to change. Look at airport which is world class infra and look at habit-old habits die hard.

Nice room, sometimes it's not always good. But I don't mind the rough rooms, adds character 😅
Sometimes the small, simple rooms are the best, as long as the mattress is decent and yes, they often have more character.
