interesting fact: in Poland, streamer Gucio completed Oggdo Bogdo on the hardest difficulty level. He thought it would be an easy crossing, but it took him 27 hours and about 1,200 attempts. At its peak, it had 40,000 viewers on Twitch, and companies like Samsung got involved in real marketing.

But in all honestly that man has the patience of a saint. I gave it 3 hours on hard before saying fuck it and lowering difficulty

@@octolockg5059 there is nighty challenges, over 200 collectables(you have to get them all), online trophies and it takes 200+ hours also the challenges get harder as you go on

And considering that I am falling into the pits of insanity on Survivor.. ye. I literally got drop kicked by one big creature and my health fell off to 1. And that same damn thing jumped on me and comboed me off the damn ground, two hits from full health: dead.

Arkham Knight gives me PTSD. At the time my best friend would love to grind platinums and during arkham knight time I was like 'you know what? this would be a cool game to have my first platinum'... then I gave up because of ONE riddler challenge, which costed me the platinum to this day. I still am missing that ONE trophy, which was the one that you had to complete all the riddler challenges..

God of War 4’s platinum was what got me into your channel. I love how that game can both be an extremely beautiful and amazing platinum… but a complete endurance test if your doing GMGOW difficulty.

@@UzitheSaint bloodborne is fun and the platinum is quite easy. The only grindy thing about is if you actually play through the game 3 times instead of just backing up your save and doing all three endings in one run
Spiderman 2 took away so many things like being able to web pull thru things water towers or other thing, also the collectables are underwhelming, when i would get backpacks in spiderman ps4 it was so fun to hear what the story was behind it.
Ah I actually felt the same way but couldn't put words to it, makes sense. Also I think upgrades for your gadgets not being linked to collectables took away from it.

I’ve begun trophy hunting too and I love that we do it completely differently. I only play on the hardest difficulty of the trophy requires it. I’ll play the game on the difficulty I prefer, beat the game, then throw it on the easiest so I can be done as quick as possible. When I got my plat for miles morales, I think it got the new game+ trophy in 3 hours or so lol
Good luck with RDR2 if you thought Valhalla's collectible grind was tedious.
Rdr2 isn’t boring though I found it alright as long as you do it whilst doing the campaign and don’t wait until the end

Btw after having completed City myself. The funniest and cruellest part about that clip is that it's one of the most cheeseable trophies. You can drop an ice platform right infront of the entrance, then zipline right across the remaining water inside of the cage.
I also have Arkham city platinum. Great game, I have no idea from where I got the inner power to get that platinum

Have you thought about doing the Platinums for the original God of War games? They’re a blast, and not too hard, but you’ll probably have to play off stream so you can… slightly censor the cutscenes in the video.
The fact that I stopped at 85% on arkham city looking at my trophy list says a lot lol. I have the platinum on every other game in your list except the mw2 remake which I don’t think I’ve played.
Tony hawks pro skater remake is my most insane platinum. At the time it was released it was both incredibly difficult and insanely grindy to reach the level requirement you needed. It still stands as a 0.1% ultra rare I believe.
The flying notes/shanties/paper in AC games is a real struggle.
If your gonna do “The Last of Us: Part II” should definitely do the remaster mainly because of the fact there’s a rogue survival mode being added.

You should play AC odyssey! The story is actually amazing and in my opinion it’s clear of AC Valhalla (and origins). I just played the game normally without trophy hunting and happen to be 2-3 trophies away from the platinum. Great experience for me and I totally recommend
Horrendously dogshit game 💀. Valhalla is probably worse but origins is definitely better. You say the story is amazing yet I was not able to sit thru most of the dialogue because of the terrible voice acting and script, as well as the horrendously bad animations and facial expressions. The story could not take itself seriously for one second and lacked a little something called.... tone consistency (ik that's asking for a lot from a Ubisoft Quebec game)

Uncharted 4 is one of my favorite platinum trophies but seeing that I'm not brave enough to tackle the Batman sequels, you'll do just fine.
I still do this for games I really enjoyed. Gives me more playtime and new ways to play, like how resident evil games have challenge runs like no item box, no heals, or speedrun.
It’s a impressive platinum journey with many highs and lows. I have also platinum some of the games on here ( all 3 Spider-Mans and god of war ragnarok) and all I can say is that I agree with ranking. Can wait to what platinum comes next.
Great year man. You should really consider putting Mass Effect on your list for 2024. The trillogy is a blast to play and if you have not expirienced the story for yourself you will be amazed what is has to offer. I think that would be a nice change of pace and theme but also fit really nicely in the RCU

Great tier list Rob! I understand your pain with the city and knight DLCs. Though I would say my experience with City may have been even worse as I did it on the PS3! and some warped part of me wants to do the remasters haha
this is what im missing from playing on consoles especially playstation since i moved to playing in pc and i know there is achievement badges on pc - steam, epic, etc but nothing that is captivating than unlocking trophies on playstation.

Just did Witcher 3 platinum. I would put it in the grind category. The hardest difficulty isn’t that hard so finishing on that isn’t a big problem. Getting all the places of power done is a grind but I did it without realising when doing question marks in normal exploring. The real grind though is collecting all the gwent cards for which there are 2 problems.
1. There are missions where depending on your choice, you will forever lose the chance to complete this trophy and will have to either start the game again or if you realise early, go back to an earlier save and lose hours of game time invested. If you miss the gwent game going on at the party in Novigrad for example and do as the mission leads you, that’s it, you have to either go back on earlier save if you realise on time or if u get to endgame and you realise your “collect em all” is failed, then start the game again if there’s no load files from that long ago.
2. Once you do all the main gwent missions against relevant people, you have to play most the shopkeepers, merchants, innkeepers, blacksmiths, armourers, sometimes herbalists, alchemists and etc until you get all of the remaining different Gwent cards in the game. And you have to buy some from innkeepers and shopkeepers and etc. There’s also a random side quest with a druid where he gives you a gwent card as reward, which isn’t something the main “collect em all” mission in game leads you too so you just have to either have known about this and specifically gone to this mission or grind every mission in the game after collecting every gwent card in the way I mentioned above then go into agony of what you missed then come across this mission and get the last gwent card here.
And there’s no tracker of how many base game gwent cards you have left to complete this so it’s a lot of roaming trying to find these people to get remaining gwent cards from.
Then, apart from Gwent, there’s very grind based and not at all hard plat challenges regarding combat. Like inflict poison, burning, bleeding simultaneously on one enemy and do this 10 times. Crossbow headshot kill a human or non human enemy 50 times (the crossbow in witcher 3 is really low damage which is why this is a grind, after main game, a player would usually not even have a crossbow kill coz of it not being there for killing, it’s usually good to make flying creatures fall so you can fight them on land).
Use Aaxi on an opponent and make him kill his ally, do this 20 times.
Use Aard to knock someone off a high place, do this a certain amount of times (i think it was 10, but it may have been 20).
And then the full crew trophy. Getting all allies to come to Kaer Morhen in the battle against the wildhunt. This one isn’t hard but it’s probably against the way many play on their first playthrough if they haven’t watched video on it or they don’t like doing the most caring choices all the time. For example I killed keira on my first playthrough so she obviously didn’t come as an ally. I also didn’t get Hjalmar to come first playthrough so I got this trophy in NG+.
Then there’s doing all the witcher contracts which is a grind but fun, I realised I already had this and complete all monster nests before i started plat hunting, because I was enjoying the game so much I’d already done all witcher contracts out of my own interest in them and done all the question marks due to loving the map and exploration but for someone who doesn’t enjoy these contracts which are essentially hunting different monsters or unravelling and fixing a problem for random people for little reward, it would be a long grind.
It was fun though. I had finished the game before when it first came out so had around 70% of the trophies completed including the witcher contracts and clear all monster nests and all place of powers interacted with so fortunately didn’t have to do them but the gwent one was truly a hard grind due to how long it took to find the people to either trade or win the cards from.
Amazing game, hard plat due to the grind.
Moving onto shadow of war now. I’ve already finished main game so gonna clean up the rest of the trophies which are a lot due to the “shadow of” games having very specific trophy challenges about things to do on orcs, like literally breaking their minds or beating them “until they’ve had enough”, it’s orc torture simulator basically🤣.
Shadow of Mordor platinum trophy was fun so hopefully this won’t be so bad but the online conquest ones may be challenging and grind. And the vendetta missions, idk if they’re still active, hopefully coz I really want it platted.

Aside from the community stuff in arkham knight, the hardest thing to do is complete story mode hard on a new game also getting "never seen" on some of the hand combat fights with militia and what not

For Fallen Order, you can die and if you visit a world and reach your collectible and it respawns you at the mantis! Saved me time!

Those batman Arkham Knight challenges are so hard, I originally came to them after not playing the game for months and assumed they were impossible. I got them eventually years later on a different gamertag after spending the rest of the game preparing to do them, I could barely move my hands after the Croc Combo was scared I'd be killed defeating him

I actually really enjoyed my platinum experience on vallhala I liked the collectibles they were my favorite part of the game and the story as it was very fun for me to do
I feel the god of war Valkyrie Queen boss fight struggle, just beat her today after about 7 hours of grinding. I guess if you’re too low level some of her yellow attacks become unblockable, so that made it so much more fun 😐
Couple for you to try out would be Lies of P,, The Horizon games and if you want a good laugh during the whole platinum run check out both Southpark Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole - You will laugh and have a great time going for the platinum on these two

IMO difficulty is personal.
I value IRL, so my difficulty isn’t skill but length.
Persona 5 is a crazy platinum IMO, but Royal is kinda of one of the most popular plats ever… but YOU HAVE TO WASTE 100+ hours!
Meanwhile there is DMC1, an old game with insane difficulty (and equally insane cheese if you look online). That Plat is a gem, but because you can do it in 1 long sitting if you’re up to it, it doesn’t rank too high in my PERSONAL LIST.
And because of these weird rules, 10/10 difficulty is having to play the game for 10 hours-ish with no pause, even if the task requieres to perform in said hours isn’t skillful.
Assassins Creed Valhalla was my favorite AC game since Black Flag lol aside from the normal Ubisoft issues and some balancing problems at the end it was very fun.
Let’s just say that even with the vicious grinds, countless deaths and tear-jerking story moments, there is no shot he would be better off mentally if he stayed on cod throughout MWII’s lifecycle.

Thank god someone said it. If you do side stuff as you go and map out stuff in advance. Valhalla is not that bad. My routine would be, complete a quest, go do some side stuff, complete a quest, side stuff until the region was done and then I would clean up any side stuff in that region and then head back and start the next region

A couple of Ragnarok’s berserkers on give me god of war we’re really tough but nothing compares to Gná. She took me three days
SM1 is definitely not a 40 hour platinum. I platinumed it in 32 hours, and SM2 in 28 hours. (MM was 28 hours, would be 25 without required ng+) However SM1 does have NG+ and DLC, the two things SM2 lacks. SM2 would genuinely be a 10/10 for me if it had those two things, hopefully they add them soon enough.
