Hey Russ, I don’t care for the cold rain but the wind has been blowing all of December and now into January here in south central Alaska!
I’m going to try your design idea on the road side stand for our hardwood . Do you have a patient on that?? Our stand is busy but it is all dry spruce,
We sell birch in log lift bags and bulk by the cord , a few deliveries when time permits,
Enjoy your channel and hope maybe when you have time check out the Alaska Wood Yard, keep the sawdust flying Jeff and Jill.

Hey Russ, i stacked like that for years before I went to pallets. I used landscape ties for the base, far more rigid I paid 4 bucks per tie, not sure the cost comparison but if you end up having trouble with more and need an alternative those won’t break!

Russ, another great video. I have a couple questions for you, are they going to fill in the log lift up near the top on your new All Wood splitter? Seems to me if they added a middle bar the length of the open spot wood wouldn’t have a chance to fall through that opening. It’s just something I noticed watching your channel?
