That air fryer looks good mate. That other little Tower oven you got for chrimbo looks really good too. I wouldn't mind betting that one is even more efficient than the air fryer, because it looks like it retains the heat much more efficiently. The offer will stay open if you ever want to work out exactly how much they cost to run.
BTW, I'm a veggie, not vegan, but I don't like calling myself that coz I don't like eating too much veg 😂, so I usually just refer to myself as a non meat eater who used to blooming love eating it.

I've worked out exactly what my oven and air fryer cost to use per minute and then during my food reviews I state the cost of cooking the product being reviewed.

I do like these pies, but the hassle of getting them out of the tin outweighs the enjoyment of the meal!
So true janine. I did see another video on here where the person ran a knife around the edge of the tin prior to cooking, which seemed to work for him, though I haven't tried it yet personally.
I know for video purposes ya would go to the extreme of taking it all out and putting it on a plate but council style ya cook em and eat em straight out the tin, no washing up, great vid though

I brought one of these Fray Bentos All Day Breakfast Pies… started opening it and my tin opener broke! Got one from Wilko and that wouldn’t open it!! 😩 I need to try it again but need a decent tin opener first!! Great video as always pal 👊 plus I’m liking that Air Fryer! …. Smithy
I've cooked both Denny's and Lidl own brand pies in the Air Fryer at 180-200c for 20 mins both very successfully. Definitely worth a go

FYI if you have a tiled splash back not a problem.....only applies to painted walls!
Can you do Scampi please. I think the only way to cook it is deep fried as an occasional treat. Baked in the oven just isn't the same so it would be interesting to see how they compare ( actually you could fry some at the same time to get a true comparison

I’ve never seen an all day breakfast one before, seen the meat ones in the supermarket though - but never tried.

They do the job these pies if u have a bit of mash/potato and greens with it.
I've never tried one of these breakfast one's before, only the steak and kidney, and they look ok. I don't have an air fryer, but I particularly like this one because of the see through door, which I've not seen on any other models.
Tell me you didn't just throw the Frey Bentos lid on the floor mate 😂 I have great memories of the pies mum made when I was a kid, obviously there wasn't the choice we have now. Remember the Heinz tinned puddings?

The top of the pastry did look good, but the underneath of it still looked raw to me - is that how it's supposed to come out? I have to admit, I've not had a Fray Bentos since I was at university, and that's a loooong time ago now ha ha
The whole top is puff pastry, the underside is cooked just hasn't risen and looks soggy because of the filling or lack of it. Keep the can and make your own with shortcrust on the bottom and puff on the top and add double the filling
No matter how well you cook them, the underside of the pie crust always looks raw.
I have an Tower air fryer only a 4ltr but it does me, First time seeing you on here I usually watch Bald Foodie Guy, are you copying him, I like your channel this is the only second one I've seen so I might watch a few more until I subscribe, it's something different
I used to love fray bentos pies Igot one a while back and I got one little lump of steak in a steak and kidney pie and the gravy was horrible it was thick and had no taste my son called them fat belly pie cos of the pastry on top so they were called fat belly pies ill never buy one of those pies again

I was a big fan of these pies but they have been really stingy on the meat content in recent years
You have an airfry oven not a airfryer

This is just like a table top oven

I woudn't bother trying their other pies as the meat content has dropped considerably in the last 30 years

Just use the oven dude. I don't really get the air fryer obsession people seem to have. Man went thousands of years just using fire, the oven is fine.
