I am a newbie to crypto and have been tying for more then a week to move my XRP from Coinbase to my Ledger Nano X after watching your video. However, my transaction would always fail. Turned out that a XRP tag was needed. I entered 00000000 after watching another video. It went through like a champ the first time. You might want to update your video.
Evrey time I try to send my XRP to Ledger Nano X from Coinbase, Coinbase says "FAILED". I updated my firmware. Followed all the steps in this video. Why did it fail? Thank much. Never mind. UPDATE; I saw on another video that I needed to add like eight zeros into the tag line on Coinbase. After that it went through no problem. You should add that to these instructions. Thanks
It looks like now coinbase only supports sending XRP to an "x" address and not an "r" address. The "r" address is what we've always been able to use for our ledger nano. And according to ledger live support, 6/17/20, the "x" address isn't available on Ledger yet. So do you know a way to send to an XRP "x" address and then to an "r" address so it can be safely sent to our ledgers?

This video was very helpful in explaining a complex process but at the end what should I expect to see on my Ledger Nano S. You did not show this at the end of the video. I can see the Bitcoin account symbol and name but should I be able to read the value of BTC stored on the device or is that only available to see from the Ledger Live screen? J7 Pro, You can use any exchange you want. Each of them might have a different interface. But the point is that you’ll send it to the address of your ledger nano device. It’ll generate that address in your XRP account when you click to receive button. Remember you don’t need the memo/tag field. When sending from an exchange to your own wallet.

I have a coinbase wallet on my phone and I had tokens in it. I bought a new phone and you have to keep the phones close together until the data is transferred to my new phone now I forgot about my coinbase wallet and did not make a new wallet on my new phone after the data transferred I remembered my coinbase wallet on my old phone and signed in the wallet was empty I tried to restore but issues no coins found… did I lose my coins/tokens ? My first transfer from Coinbase to Ledger X was simple. Now as I try to send more of the same to my Nano X, I continue to receive a "Your send Failed" they say I need a Destination Tag even though I did not need one the first time. I have tried multiple times and on different days with no luck.

I get to the stage where i have my ledger ready and put in the amount with the transfer button at the bottom where it tell me to send however when i paste the code into the relevant box i am unable to press the send button? I have even put in 000000 to see if that made a difference. I have also tried to preview the transaction and the app goes completely off? Is there any way that you can help me as this is the first time i have ever done this and im finding it overwhelming :-) To add i've tried going in the portfolio way too, its till the same ahhhhh

If I try sending by clicking send full amount it doesn’t work but if I type in the amount I want to send it worked just fine.

Just figured it out, you can't send the total amount for some reason. Once I lowered the amount I was sending, it went through with no problem.

I read through all these comments and then went back and just continued with the message I got but after reading others I did enter the exact amount rather than using the "ALL" option and it worked for me. Commenting back hoping it might help someone else with the same issue. Success shared. :-)

I transfers xrp successful to ledger app. My question is when I check my nano x why does the xrp app say , use wallet to view accounts? I can only see my balance on the mobile app or desktop?

So I figured it out. Xrp wants to have a tag to be moved no matter what. So when you move it out 9 zeros in the tag field. It will work just fine
Coinbase has my funds on hold. I can sell but not transfer for 6 days. Do other apps have this same hold? Is there a way to speed this process up?
So the ledger nano app shows how much is in the nano x, or do I need to transfer from ledger live to nano x also?

I need some help. I am no longer able to send XRP to nano s from coin base. It gives me a failed send message asking for an email or address. Not sure why I can still send to my coinbase wallet and I made sure ledger was updated. I’m very frustrated and would love to find a live chat to help with this. I’m not even sure if it’s a ledger problem or coinbase problem. I’ve tried for days now and not sure if I’m locked out .
