I guess there is a lot of good food in Waterway Point and Northshore Plaza (punggol) like Wok Hey, Genki sushi and the koufu over there also offers a variety of good food
Tong Kee Cooked Food - wantons and wanton mee not too bad, hui ji fish ball noodles - dry noodles and chili with yong tau fu, Super Shiok Nasi Lemak - cheap and good
From the way shawnrick team plays and tries to mute the crude jokes and save the bad jokes, he seems like a genuinely nice guy and a gem of a talent. Really good host.
im american n that herb chicken got my saliva glands going this might been the first episode where i got hungry without being hungry! 🤤🤤 good job thomas!
Tiong Bahru market has the western stall that is diagonally opposite to the nasi lemak stall which is super worth & Beo Crescent food centre, which is near to the porridge place, has the sambal pork chop fried rice that is super sedap💯✌🏼
the carrot cake at first stall on the right in Tiong Bahru Food Centre (turn right when you go up the escalator) is very underrated. give it a try next time.
I second Cantonese delights. Bloody good. Recommended by my gf when she stumbled on it on delivery app. I have gone done personally a few times. Try the curry fish but the minced pork is dam good too
East side is always the best side =) but other sides also have good food. How about an episode at Geylang, Paya Lebar, Bedok u know, those nearby green stations?
Technically the 2nd largest group after Hokkien, but their language seems to be ‘overshadowed’ by Hokkien, as they have similar tones for many words.. so it somehow is hard to identify a Teochew outside esp gen Z, to the extent that many who can speak Teochew tend to converse more often in Hokkien outside home
I have boycotted the Oyster omelette stall as the uncle was always rude and unethical. Have always ate there as I live at TB, but one time I ordered $10 serving but only gave $6 serving. He refused to give more and gave excuses that that is the usual which I'm 100% it was not based on my previous orders. just saying, be careful when you order from him as he will anyhow cook the serving. (usually cook as a batch but the last person to receive the same batch will get the least regardless of how much you order)
Son unos QQGIRLS.Uno de los mejores conciertos ❤️ Son unos de los mejores conciertos, no puede ir pero de tan solo verlos desde pantalla 3, se que estuvoa sorprendente...
Can’t stand Shawnrick’s accent. It’s too strong when you’re reviewing local food. This is a laid back show so don’t have to go full-on emcee voice here. It’s too much and too distracting to watch. Spoils the team dynamics
If you have your own hidden gems please share with us ☺️

Kim Dae Mun Korean Food. Korean food at concorde shopping mall.
The best dish I've ever eaten is canton delights and Geylang Bahru market (try the prawn paste pork)

I'm teochew too! Teochews are so hard to find in sg!

7:45 isn't that Andy Lau? definitely doesn't look like Chow Yun-Fatt to me
Got both
7:43 the aunty kinda handed over the licensee title to her daughter (3G owner) though, even though she’s still around almost everyday
Can tell the friendship, sg style la nice! Need another food critic? 😂
Go to Tambuah Mas in Tanglin
