I think Bolin needs to take us to Chinese food spots that he frequents.
His enthusiasm with the porridge place really shows - and his reviews are way more in depth too.

Singapore cafe truthfully no standard, but excellent in being pretentious for pretentious people. They are made to look fancy but it takes some depth to know the food is vastly mediocre with horrific valuations. Most people here have no palate anyway, not dignified to critique food.
Teens and young people who cafe hop, you see these people got no substance but try hard to appear like they do. They really think they are eating “atas” food. Think again - No real atas people visit Starbucks or cafes, these are reserved for young punks
