Tools required are; assorted sockets, extensions, ratchets, flat blade screwdriver, vise grips, penetrating lube, anti-seize, 1-2 bandaids, extra strength Advil...add new bumpers! I give this job 4 1/2 beers straight up. (P.S. Dielectric grease for tag lamp & connector. Anti-Seize for grandson in 50 years, optional if you want him to work for it!) ASE Master Tech - Retired
When we removed my white painted bumper, 2 of us carried it away. I set the chrome bumper up on the frame rails with one hand. This means when you have a bender, it includes your fender. Watch out for what the other drivers are up to.
easy, huh? On these 50+ year old vehicles, very few jobs are easy and require special consideration for the penetrating oil, hacksawing, vice griping, busted knuckles, and rust dust inhalation! You did well.

Yup. Researching my options. Splitting those big '69 C-10 nuts would be a project.
Where can you fine those spacers for the front bumper?
Ok thank UNK. Have you been able to get anything done on the truck?
They don't come right out. Mine have been frozen for decades. Need help.
I can't believe he put the rotten license plate light back on the bumper.
The problem is rounding off the square holes and not have a core credit.
Some wd 40 maybe

This video is worthless… it skips over all the important parts for the rear bumper like how it goes on and where the screws go… WTH
