Accent strip placemat tutorial

This placemat is a quick and easy project. Perfect for adding just a little something extra to your table. Use your favorite fabrics, holiday prints or solids to make the look just what you want.
Add applique for a fantastic finishing touch!
Placemats measure 12" (h) X 18" (w)
You will need a fat quarter or 1/3 yard cut of fabric for your main front fabric. Use scraps or a fat quarter for the accent fabric. You will also need batting and backing fabric. I recommend using a solid or basic fabric for the backing- you'll never see it. ;)
