- This is a great look if you want a 1970’s disco vibe or a “Mob Wife” look. It’s been a long time since I was heading out for a glam night and did a fun Get Ready With Me! Prepare to watch in horror as I select the absolute wrong, too-dark shade of foundation and turn myself into a jaundiced Oompa Loompa. Garish green eyeshadow and clown red lips. A hot roller hairdo. (Really, nothing about this look should work. And I 100% loved it and had a great night!) This is a fun look for St. Patricks Day, but you might consider a foundation that actually matches your skin ;-) Let’s go disco!

When you have accidental mascara stains on your eyelids or close to your eyes, simply leave it be and let it dry! Then take a clean mascara-like brush and gentle remove the dry stains. I do it all the time. Works wonder! 😁

I'm so impressed with how well you're doing with your arms! And you retained your sanity the whole time! I broke just one arm the end of November, didn't have to have surgery, and I'm still a bit "iffy" with that arm. Thank goodness it was my left arm.

Oh yeah, you rocked it! I ruled the Dance floor between 75 and 79 ….was the dancing disco queen! For my makeup, I would’ve added more blush … would look like a big pink streak across our cheeks. We wore heavy lip gloss that was flavored . no shine on the face whatsoever……matted. I still have my platform shoes and some of my disco dresses from back then and even some of my eyeshadows …. That green for sure!

Monique, in the 70's, hot pants outfits were in. I bartended then, in Long Beach. Hot pants & knee boots and long shag haircuts. Lots of eyeliner. Nothing on eyebrows ever! It wasn't the look to do your eyebrows then. I wore emerald green eye shadow! Oh! NO bra! Nobody wore bras in the 70's!!! & We didn't think a thing about it! It was the "burn your bra days!" Women's activism times.

Hi Monique. I had ellacor. It's a microcoring procedure, where they take many micro chunks of skin to tighten your face. Advertised as a facelift without surgery (although it requires tons of local anesthesia). Takes about 8% of skin, not bad for a non-surgical procedure.
The results are not spectacular, however, just subtle. I think what it mostly did for me was slow aging. When comparing to how I looked 4 years prior to 9 months after ellacor, I didn't look older at at all.
That being said, I still went for a lower facelift. Jowls and turkey wattle are really GONE. I highly recommend it. Especially for you, Monique, because you have a very similar facial structure and early aging to mine. I don't trust energy devices. They don't do anything but empty your wallet. Results are like the Emperor's New Clothes.
Research the MACS lift. It's much less invasive than a full facelift and can be done under local. You would look amazing with this procedure, I swear!
