Gosh, it’s been a bit since I last got dressed up and went out! Tonight we are going out to dinner at the beautiful, historic restaurant at the base of the Hollywood Hills, known for it spectacular view (yummy food, too). For our dinner at Yamashiro, I am rocking a dark green smokey eye, nude lips and my favorite quickie updo for super fine “cotton candy” hair.

I love that you know your hair so well and style accordingly. My hair is exactly the same so a Bob with a bit shorter in back gives me the best volume when needed. I did buy the hair piece that you used in your get ready in 10 minutes video but haven’t used it yet. Trying like hell to not look like a gray squirrel landed on my head!

I know I’m late to the party but once again you’ve outdone yourself! I’ve been following you forever and your tips, transparency and authenticity are so refreshing. Again, many thanks Ms. Parent and PLEASE DON’T CUT YOUR HAIR! Long hair is highly versatile, can be braided in endless styles especially up-dos.
I wore mine in a two strand twisted rope braid from the crown down (just keep adding chunks of hair from either side) to where I pushed the bottom of the braid under the nape and got compliments all the time. You can also try those hair colored stretchy ponytail/bun things (pull all your hair up, use the elastic to hold all the hair-or use a couple for height and dimension.) Your hair will be kept neat all day and professional/polished for any occasion.
Want short(Er) hair? Purchase a wig. Seriously. Thanks again for being here for us ;-)

Thank you Monique, that was lovely. Will you make a video on how you remove all that make-up when you get back? That seems to be my dilemma. Eye make-up remover, then oil to loosen the foundation, after that milky cleanser and finally foamy cleanser. It seems more effort to get it off than applying.
I have the same type hair. I refuse to cut it short so it only looks full and fluffy the first day, 2nd day flat, 3rd day.... oily! It's still pink so it does the cotton candy exceptionally well. Happy belated Valentine's Day. Every day is Valentine's Day for me as well. Not going to be sorry, it took a lifetime to find him.
