I have spent a week holiday in that river for the last 6 years. I love the river. We go tubbing down there quite alot as well as swimming. I have only spin fished that river but never bout the canyon. Will definitely take my fly rod next time and really give it a good go.

Love that river. Similar to you I have been warned multiple times of leaving my car there but I've done 3 overnight trips in there with a total of 7 days with my car in that carpark with no issues and also haven't seen any evidence like broken glass in the park either. I have insurance and there is mobile phone signal in the carpark with my network so I figure if something happens then I'm ok. I just don't leave anything in the car. Great work with the second camera. It's hard work setting them up like that. Next time blind fish it with cicada dries, you will be surprised how many you simply don't see that come up and smash the big dries. Great video and look forward to your next adventure.

Second camera shots were awesome. Another great spot. I took my fly rod for an overnight walk through there a few years back with the family. We got a shuttle type service to drop us so our car was safe. What rooftop rod tube do you use?

Great idea to run a big terrestrial fly through that sort of water, the fish are not too deep to see it.
