Design wise there is always good ones and bad ones in every generation
generation 8 -design and gigamax are the worst

Pikachu is not a pikachu clone xp, anyways, emolga over pikachu, and as cute as it is, Meowth over purloin

Best starters, best legendaries
Found the Genwunner. The Legendary Birds are super weak, and Mewtwo isn't really that interesting as Legendaries go, it's a failed clone of Mew. Gen 5 even does evil team experiment Pokemon better, Genesect is way cooler than Mewtwo.

Same. First episodes I watched were the first two Nimbasa Town Battle Club episodes. And my first Pokemon game was Poke-Park 2

Hydreigon is better than dragonite
Why?
For me, it's because it has the cooler design, and I've always liked the dark type personally. Dragonite is undoubtedly more iconic, though, and is one of only 2 Pokemon to have multiscale as an ability, so it's a close call between the 2. Admittedly, part of the reason why Hydreigon wins out for me is because I took one look at it and immediately knew I wanted one of my own, even if it needs to reach a higher level than anything else to fully evolve

@A_Name.. The anime was good especially because that was the first series I ever watched for pokemon
I like both regions. Though, if i had to choose which one… it’s unova. Had a really good story.
And some good pokemon. While unfezant isn’t popular it’s mostly because of the moveset. Give it more physical moves instead of special and some other then it’s a great pokemon.
Also, Apologies for my “Primarina has left chat” i saw that you left out primarina in that “Ranking all feminine pokemon from worst to best” and i saw other people doing it. Which i realized was a mistake and for that i am sorry. I really am. I will not be doing the “ *Insert name here* has left chat” again.
Both are in my bottom 3 for pokedexes, but that's because their bottom line drags them way down imo. The good pokemon from these regions still slap hard.

Honestly I'll take grinding my ass out to bring that zweilous to lv 64 and get that killing machine of Hydreigon over getting that fat 4 time weak to ice failure of a dragon type just because it evolves 9 levels earlier
Idk why people are harassing and discriminating the unova region and everything about it when UNOVA is literally an upgrade to the towns, cities, etc.
The starters are awsome the regional birds are cool (Fun Fact: I swept a guy in VGC with just a feather dancing, swords dancing and aerial acing unfezant), the rodents tbh is pretty mid, but the mons?! Gigalith?! Scolipede?! Leavanny?! Hydreigon?! Haxorus?! This region is full of OP and awsome mons.

unova is my favorite region but i understand why somone might enjoy kanto more
For Kanto, i love Blastoise, Machamp, Beedrill, Golbat, Hitomocham, and Tetacruel.
For Unova, I like Serperior, Seismetoad, Skollipide, Throh, Gigalith, and Conkeldurr.

You seriously gave butterfree and beedrill the point over unovas bugs which are leagues better in design and in battle. I swear. Every video abour gen 1 boils down to "this came first and nostalgia blah blah blah therefore its better"
Gen 5 has the best pokemons.
We got some powerful mons like Haxorus, Volcarona, And even the fossils are great!
I know Kanto has also great pokemon like Poliwrath, Gyarados, Golbat, And the king and queen of the Nidos!
But I feel like Blastoise and Charizard and those carry the region.
I pottenially like Unova over Kanto,
Unova made me LOVE bug type pokemon!
Escavilier, Scolipede, Volcarona, Accelegor,
Leavanny, Galvantula and even Durant! One of my top 5 favourite bug type pokemon.
I don't like Crustle tho. Something just feels weird about em. Something makes me really happy and that is Krookodile.
This thing was a menas. I used it on my Scarlet team AND it was so OP.
I love this pokemon and i'll never forget it.
Here is what I would personally do for each category:
Starters: Kanto, OBVIOUSLY.
Cute Mythicals: Kanto. By far the better. And you're telling me Victini has a bigger movepool when Mew can literally learn all the moves?
Regional rodents: Unova. Watchog is WAY cooler than chonky ugly Raticate.
Regional birds: Kanto. Pidgeot is better than Unfeazant in every way.
Regional Bugs: Unova. You're telling me that Butterfree and Beedrill are better than Scollipede? I also like Leavanny, it's got charm.
Psychic Tapirs: Unova. As an MandJTV fan I hate Drowzee with all my heart.
Bovines: Kanto. Are you seriously saying Bouffalant is cooler? Because Tauros is the best bull. It even got a Paldean form!
Tadpoles: Unova. Although the Poliwrath line can run Hypnosis, the Seismitoad line is overall better in battle and way cooler. And Palpitoad is also cool minus. One of the coolest middle evolutions.
Jellyfish: Kanto. Tentacruel is just so cool. No pun intended. I will say though Jellicent is cool and can run Taunt sets.
Pink Healers: Unova. It was a close one since Chansey is so much better in battle, but Audino's charm and Mega Evolution won me over. Chansey isn't even used in Pokemon Centers that much anymore in the recent anime.
3-stage fighting line: Kanto. Machamp is awesome. Need I say more?
Bats: Kanto. The Swoobat line is just so forgettable.
Trash: Kanto. Muk is just cooler while Garbodor is just too ugly. I will say though that Garbodor has a sick Gigantamax form that can destroy teams.
Fake Pokeballs: Unova. Among Us reigns supreme.
Fighting Brothers: Unova. This was mainly given out as a pity point. Sawk and Throh are cool, but the Hitmons are great.
Pseudo legendaries: Kanto by far. I have always hated Hydreigon and loved Dragonite.
Yeah lets tally up the points.
Kanto: 9
Unova: 7
This was closer than I thought, but mainly because of the pity point for Unova. Regardless, Kanto still wins as expected.

The best region me personally is unova like haxorus, krookodile, hydreigon, like the tao trio music plays a factor kyurem form changes like the villain which is ghetsis kanto not my cup of tea

While I’ll always love Kanto as it’s the original region, I think Unova is the 2nd region that has aged best after Kanto and Sinnoh. I see more and more fans and UA-camrs ranking Unova higher and higher on ranking videos. Both regions are great but I’m gonna have to go with Kanto purely on nostalgia. I just can’t let my respect for Unova overtake my love for Kanto.

What if in an alternate timeline, every Region came out together as Gen 1's version-exclusives in 1996? Each with a 150 Regional Dex(including 100 native and 50 foreign mons+Regional Variants). And version-exclusive mons are also "Region-exclusives". And if every 5 years, a sequel Gen came out on new handhelds?

You act as though Dratini is easy to evolve and get. It isn't, you can't even find it until very late game and it's still a high evolution level. Pseudos are supposed to be hard to get. If you think Hydreigon is bad, you can't get Metagross until you have beaten the game.
Choosing Bouflant/Seismotoad instead of Tauros/Poliwrath be like :

This mf does not know how strong the conkeldurr line is. Also ngl I like their design better but thats preference. But in VGC especially, conk was really good. Ray rizzo used it in his 2nd world champ team.
I think Unova wins with healer's, Bug's and pseudo legendaries
Kanto. No diff. Pokemon black went out of their way to try and force us to use new pokemon. Whoch i hated.
In retrospect, in scarlet and violet. I had no problem using a team of pokemon specific to the region, and that was by choice. Because the new pokemon were objectively interesting and fresh.
Also I disagree with bouffalant being better than Tauros, I love this Pokémon justice for tauros!
Best starters: Kanto
Best legendaries/mythicals: Unova
Best features: Unova
Best story: Unova
Best Dex: Kanto
Makes no sense to consider prevelance in the franchise as a consideration, like of course the kanto mons are always gonna have more representation. Also strange to say that crobat doesn't count because it wasn't introduced until the johto region, or not counting the muk alolan form, but then in the next breath count all the mega evolutions (which didn't come until gen 6!) and were not given to any unova because it was the previous generation.
The best region from my opinion is Kanto, because having a best starter trio, best legendary and the best pokemon in all time 😍💓

EVEN LEAVANEY WHICH HAS THE WORST TYPE MATCH UP OUT OF THEM. IT WAS THE FASTEST BUG TYPE POKEMON IN UNOVA AND IT HAD THE HIGHEST ATK OUT OF ALL THE POKEMON IN UNOVA.

Yea...they need to get rid of the trade evolutions. Only time I've ever been able to use those lines was in legends because you could just use the items to evolve them instead of trading them.

Kanto pokemon are way better than unova,s. because kanto has mostly memorable and while unova has cool pokemon like hydreigon, haxorus . kanto gets mostly memorable pokemon like starters pseudo legendaries , legendaries pokemon and a mythical pokemon that remembered as some of the most hard and difficult to catch
