Some of those pubs were awful looking. Where I live in Sheffield some of our larger pubs have gone/ been converted etc. but each has been replaced by several micropubs. Pubs here have never been better.
The pineapple was the first pub i ever drank at as i worked about 100 yards from it at a hosiery factory called Leesons
Used to drink in the woodsman when I was at college , happy days in late 70s and 80s
All these lovely buildings left in such a poor state. Sad.
Enjoy these videos but it would be good if you added the location to the name of the pub

Drank in 50 percent of these pubs. Things were certainly different back then 😔
The Bowlturners was a terrible pub!
Good honset drinking pubs
