The disrespect legends get is incredible in the worst way possible. They disrespect all the eras before the 2010s. Love watching old film, they’re forever engraved in basketball history
It's not as much as "disrespect" honestly as it is more just flat out forgotten. Which is not ok, they should NOT be forgotten.. it's a huge huge honor to able to do something with your life that is remembered on for a long time coming.. it's what many people strive for is to be remembered or even.. KNOWN! No kid under 30 knows who this is I'm sure . Anyways respect
Just because Richie wasn’t flashy doesn’t mean that he was a bad basketball player. In fact, Richie Guerin might be one of the best shooting guards to ever play for the Knicks! He had a great slashing game, solid playmaking, solid defending, and fantastic shooting. The man was solid all around, and that’s what made him an amazing player.
@@javajoe_gaming9923 Let me guess. You would cross them up? Lucky for you, I actually know basketball. Your fancy dribble moves would be called a carry or travel every single time in the 60s. You would have no chance of making D3 College. Just accept that you have an average life. Like a lot of us here. Guerin will always be remembered.
@@JB-wf1gh He was very good player in his prime (clearly above average) and he would do fine in today basketball. Just because he had to handle the ball differently due to strictier palming rules and he shot setshots from three point line doesn't make him scrub. He had the size, the quickness and skills to be pro basketball player.
@@JB-wf1gh Yes, I do. Why not? There are many inferior talents in the league today. NBA isn't full of superhumans, in contrast to what some people believe.
Damn, he had a nice slashing game and a sweet jumper. He is underrated.
Indeed, very good player in his prime.
Classic player and great scorer for the Knicks, legend.

No one talks about his greatness!
I knew him primarily as Pete Maravich's first coach. But I quickly learned he was an All-Star guard in his heyday as well.
go ahead, get mad, but this guy right here, Richie Guerin, maybe one of the best of his time.
it would be great if 70sFan can compile videos of set shots from the past
These hate comments piss me of lots of people have no respect for old school players

He wasn't a scrub, but nice trolling.

Marcin Klempka maybe not a scrub for his time period
