Jabber and walton great hs players great ucla players 1 and 2 and great nba players? Kareem was healthy and walton was only 80 percent his whole career
Did you see that travel call, in today's game they do that 20 times a game no call, bill 80 % healthy was still a great player
What if he played like Shaq
Great to see this film! It gives you a good Idea how Chamberlin would play in "todays game" because the 3 point line makes a big difference. Obviously this was not 1963 Chamberlin but still you can see some of his skill set with the blocks and one bounce pass he made at the end of this footage.
Do you know what his statline was, by any chance? He had to have 30+ points and 20+ rebs easily in this game
0:27 the dunk look normal not too fancy but look how hard the ball bounces of the floor it almost went over the backboard
That backboard is his friend He perfected that
I have the original film still in the original canisters.
Guards nowadays are so Small, weak and pathetic look at where he release that,he extends his whole arm making It unblockeable
No 3's? And still bust 50!
No skills though? Ant man😂
Why is original full game tapes doesn't exist.. We want to see full game
A.D. was a bad man!!! One of the greatest scoring small forwards in the history of the game!
All great lefty’s get forgotten in basketball
Bob Lanier's best highlight was punching Bill Laimbeer.
What a clean block by Gilmore at 2:46, that was SOOO CLOSE!
Best ever. First modern player along with Maravich.
Shaq s Dad
WNC Luke Jackson Chet Walker Hal Greer & Wally Jones!………………..greatest team ever!
Two best centers of all Time. Akeem would be number 3.
Has Any longer footage been found
When old heads say "yall kids got no manners, back in my day we had respect"...think of this 😂
I was at this game as a kid. There was a huge delay as they replaced the backboard. I'm wondering about the date of the game. I was around 10 years old. I went to a lot of Celtics doubleheaders. Two other (than the Celtics) NBA teams would play the first game and the Celtics would play in the second game against yet another NBA team. Lucious Jackson broke the backboard in the first game and the Celtics played San Diego in the 2nd game. I think I remember that correctly. It was a long time ago. We were sitting in the stadium seats behind this backboard, It was an amazing event.
i get whatever i want IRL
Spurs have a history of having home court colors that don’t match the spurs jersey. These colors look closer to the Dallas chaparral jerseys.
Captain K
I don't think I have seen a smoother player ever.
There is a 1988 game of Celtics vs pistons in Boston. Regular season Gilmore manhandled Mahorn anx Laimbeer.
Gervin, the only NBA player to score 20,000 points only using his right-hand dribble and going right and, and throwing up 8-10 finger rolls.
Do you have the full game of this?
@@fijiwatatofumi7319 No, I don't
Gervin & Jamal Wilkes- smoothest players ever.
Walton was probably the best white pure center. Jokic is more like a point modern PF in my opinion.
knick blue and laker gold always was a good look on tv, film whatever
Walton was the best passing center I ever saw.
Can’t believe the building was barely full for this game
sounds a lot louder and full than mad dog made it seem…
Why does this get no recognition?
Isiah thought Mark Aguirre was as good as Dantley. He almost cost his team everything by forcing that trade. He would be an even bigger villain in history if the trade didn't unlock the great Dennis Rodman and unleash his ability to effect the game.
@28:43 THIS is why LeBron is the GOAT. That play has been standardly covered with, "boxes and elbows" help since 2004. Sorry, I know everyone here loves old school. This is also why Bob Knight refused to coach in the NBA in 1984, he said, "Defense is against the rules in the NBA."
For artis Gilmore to play against wilt Chamberlain at that pace he had to be a force
I.Q. Of the Lakers……..ASS
Wow the defense inside was tough
🔥: Was only a child then but read in S.I. how McAdoo was cold af Legend
Nice video question from Wich website do you get this footage of you don’t want to share that’s completely fine 💪
I do love how people wanna compare ben wallace with bill russell, which I find to be funny because your comparing a player from the 2000s with a supposedly plumber and not only that, your doing it when ben wallace is a offense liability and literally they aren't even the same height, they literally aren't at all. Not only that, he only has 4 good years in detroit and than as soon as he got traded or went somewhere else, he just instantly fell off and never was the same ever again and never made any of his teammates better or wasn't even a leader. So no there will never be another bill russell ever again in the nba at all, no greg oden wasn't bill russell nor wasn't hassan whiteside, to be bill russell is harder than the eye test tells you.
