The thing with Majima's songs (like Majima no Maji rock and Zetsubouchou Pride) is that they initially sound kind of negative complaining about a shitty life or being stuck in the same depressing cycle of trivial BS but then turn out to be really uplifting and motivational. The lyrics of this one really hit home.

I saw the Trailer for 6 which you can see gives out quite a lot. Sad song still because it's the Final Yakuza game with Kiryu. (Btw I've watched every Y game except 5, 6 and 7. And Dead Souls and some the Japanese games which should be Subbed. So that's why.) Anyways. Sad song no matter how much you know bout the game.

With Majima Gaiden officially a thing and confirming the return of 24 Hour Cindirella, we can only hope that this also gets a modern version made. The fact this incredible song is locked behind Dead Souls is such a sad fact that hopefully will be rectified come February 2025
