Great and very detailed tutorial video! I’m glad I didn’t buy material for fiberglass! I’m repairing a slightly cracked fender. I’m trying to get in front of the potential issue….. bought a super clean Sky for my daughters 1st car.. giving it to her this week 🤫surprise
Howdy Tim. Love seeing your videos as I hope to keep this car for a very long time. I have a lot of parts (fender wells, etc) to replace on my car, but I think my biggest challenge is going to be the convertible top. When I purchased her used, the top was worn from the Texas sun (I garage her now) and the rear window separated along the bottom left (behind driver). You aren’t by chance going to do a convertible top replacement video anytime soon are you? I am glued in if you do!
Well my top is pretty pristine and it have spent maybe 🤔 5 or 6 days outside overnight … EVER. So I may not do a replacement video for a while … I did coach a friend reseal his rear window using neodymium magnets to secure the fabric to the glass until the 3M window weld urethane set. It worked extremely well and the only precaution is clean it well first and mask everywhere you do not want the window weld to get stuck to as it creates a hell of a mess. His reseal turned out awesome
Jeff I have a list ... 🤔 I truly enjoy tinkering on this car! Next project is going to be supercharger refresh and battery and spark plugs on the VRod though.
Hello Tim I really enjoy your work. I purchased the fusor 152 10.1 oz fusor 700 and extra tips and cant find the dispenser. Would you mind sharing where you purchased the dispenser? Thanks James
I went and looked and I purchased my Gun from Amazon ... I would offer a part number but they are specific to the size of tube you purchased ... search “fusor gun” and also include milliliter size you purchased and go from there.
I contacted lord fusor and they gave me the number of a local rep here in california so I am waiting to hear back from them. I purchased a 2008 sky redline estate car and mechanic where car was stored replaced the battery without removing the bolt behind the door and broke the fender off to replace the battery. I didn't notice it till I took the car in for airbag sensor replacement at GM dealer So now I'm going to repair the fender. Thanks for your videos You do a great job and it helps out a lot of sky owners Have a great day James.
@@350tiger nice. I have literally the exact same car, minus the upgrades, but I've tuned it using hptuners. But yea, same color, wheels, interior, everything. Great little cars.

I am glad the videos are helpful! I am also located in California (Orange County) if I can be of any help.
I did not even read that you bought the 10 oz size ... sorry about that ... I should not rush through messages 🤦🏻♂️
Hi, my trunk is not even when I closed it, you know what can it be the problem?
Well that is pretty hard to diagnose without seeing it … if at the front it is an alignment issue. If at the rear it may be a spring hinges.
Looks good. So how do you like the big wheel turbo? Tuned for it yet?
Always well done never slipshod...
Thanks Andrew ! I will be doing another HP Tuners based video and dove into the actual tuning process !
