What can I do if one of the most well known Mercedes dealerships broke the snorkle plastic clip on my car? Is it absolutely necessary to have a continuing tube to the front? Does the snorkle run to the radiator or is the plastic oval/elliptical shaped end piece nor important to be 100% attached near the front bumper?
Sorry this is a year late but removing the dual snorkel intake only causes performance issues by sucking hot engine air instead of directly receiving air from the outside. Will not cause reliability issues
@yowhiteboigregg445 The point is not getting hit air. There are dual snorkels on some older and AMG models only. Most now have single. I personally fixed it and fastened a clip. How many Mercedes owners know everything about their engines? I'm probably the only one that has ever checked. I made one of the wealthiest dealerships aware of the shoddy service. Now to fix the failed Airbag module. Makes all airbags not work. Poor manufacturing by Mercedes. They should fix it for free. (Expensive)
@yowhiteboigregg445 E350 2014 and 2019 AMG E63 S. The E350 has the airbag module thing and I garage it, so the burl wood lawsuit isn't really a thing for their lack of UV protection. I replaced all interior lights with LEDs and updated the GPS to the latest possible, which is 2020. Many of the other models have had airbag recalls, not the E350 Petrol 4Matic Sport. (First year of the facelift.)
My 2012 E350 4matic looks nothing like this. The air filter chamber is on the left side of the engine, with three T25 screws on the top. Two I can get out, but there's not enough clearance to get the third one out. There seems to be a clip on the bottom front, and there's probably one at the back, but not any clearance to reach it. There are two star bolts that seem to hold the filter to the engine, but I didn't want to start taking them out if it wasn't necessary. Any suggestions?
Next service I doing home looking into all this service video no point to pay all money to dealer when you can order new filters from Germany really cheap.
+P Litt open your hood on the back of the motor to the passenger side your will see your oil deep stick, i also have another video where I'm doing the oil change, you also can see a deep stick location
P Litt no you cant, i used to own w210 before this one and loved the option, but Mercedes getting saving on every bolt and nuts, now a days, matter erect as much as Mercedes enthusiast i am, sure my next vehicle wont be Mercedes,

@@UhhhhhnooOOo00oO what Mercedes do you drive that has the bad airbag module? I only currently have experience with E350's, E63 AMG's from 2010
