It’s not my bike but I did make 2 laps on it. It felt familiar having a 2021 kx450 previously, but really I don’t have much of a useful opinion. Zero complaints. The suspension felt much more plush compared to my 300sx. The power on a 450f is unreal. Where I have to shift a bunch you can leave it in 3rd and lug over everything. For example. A 180 turn, take the inside and still have the torque to get over a quick double. On the 2stroke, I feel the need to take to outside for s better run up. Great bike
I appreciate the feedback. I have been giving it a lot of thought whether to pull the trigger on one or not. I like the changes to the airbox and the Brembo front brakes. However, I have heard a lot of complaints about bolts stripping and plastics cracking etc etc on the Kawi's. I am currently on a '22 KTM 350 SXF which is a great bike. I just want to jump up to a 450 to be a little more lazy haha.@@AndrewDeVries211
I can tell you first hand to be extra careful with any 8mm bolt on a kawasaki. The new filter design is a breath of fresh air. Plastic. I usually only have issues with the fork guards but they get abused the most. Brembo front brake is nice lever isn't skinny like previous model. Overall it seems to be a great package
@@thebrad935 It’s definitely a shame about the bolts being an issue. But not a deal breaker at all. I’m leaning real hard towards Kawasaki for sure. It’s more than likely between that and the Yamaha. I love my KTM and I really have nothing bad to say about it, I just want to try something different and something with spring forks for a while.
Does the 5 pounds heavier weight vs last years model make a noticeable difference in the ride/handling? My 22 felt like a tank compared to my 23 KTM 350 SX-F
Wish I knew but Motocross Action Magazine confirmed I’m right in what I saw in the spec sheet for the 24 vs the 23 on weight and will let us all know why soon.

Honestly it feels slightly lighter than the previous model and thinner
New model is really 5lbs heavier? Why?
