I see the real money I should spend is on solving the problem (I know my air is very very bad). I get a layer of black looking motor oil type grease on the leading edge of our slow moving fan above our dining room table in about a month or two and it is NOT cooking grease.
Best Solution: As I watch your video I noticed a video to the right of it titled:
Build a do-it-yourself air purifier for about $25
BUT I found that HEPA filters 24" x 24" cost around $200 so humm, a fan is $20 and ?...

Great video. Im asthmatic and have used air purifiers for 40 years. Im in the market for a air purifier and will spend upwards to $200 Canadian dollars. Whats my best bet? I also take filter cost into effect. I like the once a year hepa filter change on purifiers as it cuts cost of operation. Whats my best bets? Thank you.
