The perceptions of Gerrel and Koris from ME2 to ME3 are such polar opposites from each other. In ME2, Gerrel stood in Tali’s defense in ME2 and seemed like a cool guy you want to be friends with, while Koris was a bully to both you and Tali and you may have the urge to hate him. Here, Gerrel is revealed to be an irrational war monger who will do things at any cost which will only make things worse for everything and everyone and you want to hate him instead. Even Tali, whom both she and her dad were Gerrel’s friends, turned and hated on him for it. While Koris is revealed to be one who, while sympathizing with the Geth, cares a lot for the good of everything and everyone, and knows what he’s doing to protect his people. He even reveals some of that in Tali’s loyalty mission when you talk to him in person, and it’s deeply implied that he was mean-spirited to Tali because she was pro-war, though I do think it was a bit too unnecessary of him on that. You will see more of that good aspect of him later too. This is what I love about the Quarian admirals. You hate and love someone at first impressions, then vise versa later on. The *_true total asshole_* is Gerrel, and Koris (my favorite) is a *_real unsung hero._*
And only one particular admiral remained consistently petty, it's Xen! Whether it's ME2 or ME3 you still have an urge to punch her...LOL I wonder what Veetor's doing, haven't heard from him in a while...maybe we'll learn something about his fate soon or maybe we won't...

If you didn't know the waggle reference is from the original Battlestar Galactica series. Tali and Garrus have some great moments in this game, I love the interaction between them. Also supporting Joker in that conversation with Liara is hysterical, if you get a moment you should look up a video for it.
Krogans have four testicles. That's why they often like to refer to 'quads' in dialogue. I guess Traynor's joke would've made more sense if you were playing as a male Shepard. Her original 'number of testicles' punchline would've made more sense, being the only difference between Shepard and a Krogan. At least that's how I interpreted it. I could be wrong. 😅
And as far as James, I don’t think he wasn’t excited about it. I think he never really took anything seriously in his life, including his career as a soldier. Until he lost his squad. Until he saw Earth on fire. His conversation with you was probably the first time he gravely considered anything.
No, James always takes everything seriously. That's why he tries to lighten the mood with a little humor; everything seems so bleak to him, and he's constantly overthinking things...and he knows that's not good for his mental state. James wasn't sure about the N7 commendation because he wasn't sure that he was good enough, that he didn't deserve it, that he wasn't cut out to be a leader. If he wasn't one to take things seriously, he would've jumped at the opportunity. Paragon Lost and a couple of the comics explain James' mental state from his teenage years all the way up to the start of ME3. His contemplation on the N7 commendation is par for the course.
Ah, the geth shockwave corridor. If this won't convinvce you to stop dancing about in the middle of the battlefield and only running to cover when you have low health, I don't know what will :p Cover has only gotten more important with each game, and you'd be having a much easier time of it if you learned to get into cover, move between cover and use it effectively. Also, I don't think you've used any of your armour pieces you've found throughout the game except for that visor. I think everything else is just your defauly gear which just gives you a flat health bonus (Something that becomes a lot easier to manage when you use cover from the start) when you could be using the stuff you've found to boost shields, weapon damage or your biotics. Additionally, when you look at a weapon's damage, it's not telling you the DPS of the weapon, it's telling you the damage of _each shot._ This can be very misleading, for example, the Geth Pulse Rifle is actually one of the best assault rifles in the game because although it's per-shot damage as per stated on the stats is low, it's got a really high rate of fire, insane accuracy and barely any recoil. This epitomised in the Reegar Carbine, the strongest shotgun in the game, but it's stats show it as having pathetic damage, zero rate of fire and zero accuracy, but this is because it fires a continuous stream of energy like a flamethrower that does the highest DPS in the entire game.
Idk if you've heard of it or been recommended it yet, yanno since this was over 2 months ago. But there's an Anime called "Paragon Lost" which follows the events of Vega's backstory. The way he describes it is pretty vague in the game.
If you have a chance, check out the romance video for Tali after you finish the game. The flirting in this mission between Tali and Shepherd is pure gold! It’s one of the best romance references within a mission in the game. They literally can’t stop flirting. It makes the third companion uncomfortable
Best squadmate response to Shepard and Tali's incessant flirting- is it Garrus' "Get a room and work it out." Or new guy Vega's "I get the feeling I'm missing something here..." No, it has to be Ashley's "Hey, how about you two save this for sometime when WE AREN'T ON A DAMNED GETH DREADNOUGHT!"
Recommendation for your next playthrough: Try doing the conversations before locking in a romance, even if you are set on someone else, because the choices in one of them (if playing as FemShep anyway) get more interesting. Though note, James is just a flirt, you can see this in how he and Cortez flirt with nothing romantic actually there between them.
Here's a link for a guy who analysed the hell out of the weapons in Mass Effect. He is only looking at which weapons work best for squadmates, not for Shepard. Just because the weapon is really effective in Shepard's hands, doesn't mean the AI driving your squadmates use them as well as you can. I would have shown this to you earlier, but he was using squadmates in the tests that you hadn't unlocked yet, and I didn't want to spoil it for you. Also, some of the weapons are only unlocked late in the game, or are the really expensive N7 weapons that you wouldn't be able to afford in the early game. good game but Mass Effect 3 ending is trash cause all options are ur death, no point to build any relationships when u die, it made me so mad cause u lover loose u and not even a child left behind who can comfort her, i was so glad i didn't buy the game cause the ending, i don't want to support trash ending only games that can have ending like that (where ur hero u build up dies) are games where u can't make choices, what strictly follow a story at least give option to leave Shep J.R behind for ur lover, but no F that
