So cool! Thanks for demo'ing the process! Just tried cloning my Windows 11 to a USB drive using an old 2.5" SSD I had laying around (instead of buying an NVME SSD) and paired it w/ a $15 USD USB 3.0 enclosure (5 GPBS speeds) and it's fast (400 MBps read/write! turned into a gaming centered, minimalist, clean windows boot install! Love it! NEver heard of Hasleo WinToUSB before. Made it super easy!
How about the performance? Is it stable? Any chance getting slower after time? Ssd getting hot? I'm thinking to use this way for daily use. I mean only use it for one computer
Definitely recommend, especially if you can take advantage of USB 3.0. It's do-able on USB 2.0 ports/adapters, but not nearly as fast. I just tried this with a spare 2.5" SSD and bought a $15 USD USB 3.0 enclosure. Was able to clone my Win OS and install/play 4K gaming (Dragon Age Veilguard). Ran perfectly smooth and fast. No hiccups! Depending on your BIOS, you can configure the boot menu to always boot from USB if avaialble too.
@@MysticNesslyWouldnt there be driver and adapter issues every time you switch systems? And wouldnt your Windows get bloated with adapters and drivers from a bunch of systems that its been booted from?
Could you use this method to install windows 11 onto an ssd for a pc. My ssd has corrupted windows files and I can’t recover it so I’ll have to wipe the drive from my laptop. After I do that could I install windows like this onto it and put it in my pc?
Windows 11 build 27686 is not updating neither installing according to your tricks as it was working before Can you assist me for the latest build 27686
Hi. I have a company laptop which is locked in the company's domain. However the bios isn't locked. Will it affect the original OS of the company's laptop if i will boot to this External SSD?
Hi Roberto, sorry my question is not about windows, but I hope you can help me. its about 8 years now since you helped me with installing OSX on my Transcend StoreJet 500 Thunderbolt Ext SSD. It still works great together with my 2012 Imac, but lately I'm thinking what will happen if my Transcend StoreJet 500 will die on me suddenly ;-) So I 'm thinking of buying a new External Thunderbolt SSD and install OSX on it as a start up disk as a replacement if the old SSD will stop working. The Transcend StoreJet 500 Thunderbolt is great, but I guess there will be better ones nowadays, and I want to buy a 1TB version this time. Can you recommend a good Ext Thunderbolt SSD in a nice case like the Transcend one to buy this time? Thanx in advance for your help ;-)
This was very helpful. Thank you!
🙏🙌

Any internal ssd (crucial p3 plus is my fav) and slap it on an nvme enclosure and you're set.
@@Mint_J64 Thanx, the Transcend looked great with my Mac, do you know any enclosure that looks that way?
Thanks
