I always saw Soifons bankai as being reflective of her real personality. She is very loud and boisterous, and nothing reflects that better than a GIANT MISSILE
Yhwach did not give them power boost, they’ve always had Vollständig. It’s the quincy version of Bankai, they just couldn’t use it because of stolen Bankai.
the stolen bankai restricted the Quincy to use their own version of 'bankai' aka [Vollständig]. Hence the reversal moment where the shinigami regained their stolen bankai enable the Quincy to use their actual power up. This episode 100% belonged to Shinji. Almost half of an episode dedicated to his Shikai and Bankai showcase. New OSTs for each, Bankai becomes canon after only appearing in a Bleach light novel. Kubo gave Shinji the justice he deserved but did not get in the manga.
The song that played during shinji’s bankai is actually the same one from when Oetsu was explaining his palace to Ichigo and Renji

@Laroyal-np4rn The Shikai theme is new. But the Bankai theme is a remix of "Battle ignition," which has played in Og Bleach since the beginning.
And this remix actually did already play when Oetsu was talking to Ichigo and Renji while they were inside the cave with all the Asauchis.

Shinji's Zanpakuto is so cool because it even kinda reverses the role of Shikai and Bankai.
For many captains the shikai is a more basic ability that you'd rather use against foot soldiers and the Bankai is for 1v1s. But even that is reversed with Sakanade, the shikai is for the giants and the Bankai for the minnows

I love that the captain of the research devision is standing there in full RGB just salty as hell that hat and clogs is there being the center of attention.
Shinji bankai is useless in 1v1 fights, that why he didn't use it against aizen. Also, even if he did use it, his bankai abilities would also effect the soul reapers and vizoreds and they would just kill each other
His bankai is powerful but it can only be used in certain situations
Shinji is the anti-jump specialist. The power of teamwork and friendship does nothing against him XD
I mean there was also the other espadas there, not just aizen, but even if he told the other captains- I doubt his spiritual pressure would be high enough to affect aizen and the espadas

@@Essira dont think its a matter of reiatsu my guy, because Aizen still felt the effects of his shikai, regardless of him learning his way out if the effects, it DID affect him. I think the condition is breathing in or touching the gas that his zanpakto emits.

I mean, in Shinji's defense, if he would've used his bankai in the arrancar arc, particularly the fake karakura town part, his allies would get in a way of it's effects, so it'll be quite worse as they attack each other without knowing who is enemy or ally.
Everybody's bankai is broken. Pretty much a prerequisite for fighting in the TYBW.

Jettro for the Shinigami Age converted to human age is 1 to 10. For every 1 Shinigami year it's 10 Human years. So a 100 year old Shinigami is really a 10 year old in human years.
Toshiro is like 130 years old so he's at most 13 while rangiku is around 200 - 230 years old so at most she's 23. So Rangiku dating Toshiro in our laws would be wrong by all means but since the Soul Society is based on the Edo Period in Japan that type of stuff was a cultural norm. Let's not forget the grunts in the Soul Society Arc that were coming onto Orihime when she was 15 - 16 years old. But to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Toshiro and Rangiku end up dating way down the line somewhere.
Rukia only stated that she is 10x Ichigo's age and people have run with it. This shouldn't be taken literally for the depiction of shinigami and their ages. Multiple characters are over 1000 years old and don't even look like middle aged humans. From "turn back the pendulum", Byakuya looked like a teenager 110 years ago, and from the Soul Society arc, he has looked like his adult self for at least 50 years.
We have seen Yamamoto, Kyoraku and Unohana 1000 years apart. Yamamoto looks like he has aged 30-40 years. Kyoraku goes from a small child to a middle aged man and Unohana appears to have not age a day.
@@ayoa1173 we have to remember not all people in Bleach reflect their actual age physically on their body let alone accurately. Their biology to humans is similar yet different. Ichibei is a prime example of this bcus he was there before the Bleach Cosmology was created by the Soul King all those millions of years ago yet he looks like he's at most early mid 40's. Not all Shinigami age the same either which makes sense bcus not all humans age the same. Some people look 40+ when they're 20 which I've seen and some people 70+ look like they just turned 40 like a small few years ago.
If anything we *should* take Rukia's words seriously bcus of the fact she's a Shinigami and we have yet to see anything in canon or hear from Kubo that states otherwise. With that 10x multiplier it at least gives us an accurate range of how it works, give or take an extra few years. But if you personally don't like it that's fine but until Kubo or something in canon says otherwise that's what I'm going with.
imagine that after Ulquiorra was dead, his reiatsu is recycled back into a soul and sent to Rukongai in a human form 😏
Shinji's Bankai is just PERFECTION but it's got a practical problem that makes it a BIG PROBLEM
It doesn't differentiate between enemy and ally at all, meaning any allies next to him will start fighting amongst themselves AND him too.
Had only Shinji gone to Fake Karakura Town instead of the rest of the Gotei 13, he could've ended Aizen AND all Espada there. But, during that time, literally EVERYONE wanted a piece of Aizen
