Oooh pretty!
The Witche’s Hour Glass is now available from Ikon.
I'm sooo excited for the hourglass! I preordered it, can't wait for it to be released!
Wish it were full size.
Great video, thank you!I just ordered the witches hourglass by ikon and I’m so excited to receive.
I think you'll really like it! The hourglass is a beautiful piece.
What a lovely video. I’m still upset that I wasn’t able to afford these replicas while they were available (I still can’t afford them, either 😅). I hope I’m able to get them for a reasonable price later on. I love the Ruby Slippers so much. ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for the comment! I hope one day you can acquire a pair! They are very nice replicas.
Thank you for the video!!
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video, and thanks for subscribing!
Great Video. Thanks
No thank you! Your Ruby Slippers are gorgeous! Thanks for creating them.
I didn't know you had these, awesome!
Silver shoes in the book classic wizard of Oz
My Yellow Brick Road edition pair are currently in the mail! I am beyond excited to get them.
However, I'm a little uncomfortable calling them "replicas" as they are a tad different in shape. I am aware that Ikon Design Studio most likely would not have been able to use the original mold as the Western Costume Company did, but they are definitely not the same in shape as the original movie props. In saying that, I am still so grateful to have the chance to own these beautiful shoes. I know I am extremely lucky and they are absolute beautiful either way.
Congratulations on getting your slippers! When I made this video, I didn't take too much notice to the slippers shape compared to the originals. Since making this video though, I have acquired a second pair of slippers, but these were made using 1930s pumps. The shape is completely different, especially the heels. Although they are different, I too am still happy to have the Ikon Design Studio pair. They are still just as magical to have on display.
Great video!!!
Thanks Tori!
These replicas are superior to the newly released version by Paragon edition.
3rd time they’ve been licensed... the second was for the Smithsonian’s #KeepThemRuby Kickstarter campaign where 6 officially licensed pairs were awarded as the top prize.
Thanks for commenting! I totally forgot about those slippers made by Randy Struthers. Unlike the other two times they have been licensed, you can still get slippers made by him.
YAAASSSS!!!
cool
Anybody know if the original shoes heel height was 1 and 5/8 in tall? 1 inch long on the side, then 1 and 1/4 in wide from the bottom back of the heel? I'm about to try making a pair on my own, but the shoes I found the heel is only 1 inch tall, and my pair measures opposite as 1 and 1/4 along on the sides and are 1 inch wide at the bottom back of the heels.
I unfortunately don't know the original dimensions, but I wish you the best with your custom slippers! I'm sure they'll turn out great.
Paragon FX is coming out with their own replicas, I hope they do a better job than ikon
Oh! Should I get a pair and compare them with Ikon's replica?
@@LAQuadling that would be amazing! Sideshow has them releasing very soon so would love to see a comparison
