Miss Ross at her Best! The best performer of All Time!! Her energy and charismatic is fantastic
Holy smoke! This was an AMAZING interview! So open and honest. So real!
One Iconic LEGEND/one Legendary ICON
I'm seeing a lot of Diana's son Evan in this interview. The similarities are remarkable.
For real, i just found a treasure, this is treasure to me. Thank you so much for this super rare video. waiting and hoping for more.
This is absolutely priceless. Thank you for posting.
Great! Ross and Gil and the late great Mr.Gil Askey UNBEATABLE!!
This is a gem love this ❤️ Ms.ross aka the boss aka my 2nd mom lol 😂😂😘😘😍😍😍❤️
wow, so raw, so natural.... it only goes to show that when Miss Ross is singing on stage for us, she really does give a totally 100% honest vocal interpretation in song after song. Just look at how she is during rehearsals. That's something that can't come from any place other than her heart.
QUEEN DIVA DIANA ROSS is so charismatic and yet down to earth and real. It’s hard to explain her I just love what I see from her.. and I think that is a God give gift. She is ONE OF A KIND. ⭐️
I saw this show 3 times
I was 23
My beloved but belated friend Rick was so proud of Boston and the love affair Boston audiences had for Diana! This is a special treat for me. I finally did see Diana in Boston in 1995 for the "Take Me Higher Tour"!
Her attention to detail is interesting. One thing I find fascinating is that you never hear any stories that she fainted in stage or suffered from exhaustion. I’m not saying it never happened, but it’s never been public or obvious.
That’s actually NOT true. She did pass out onstage in the 60’s and was treated for “exhaustion”, and was said to be severely malnourished etc.
then again in the 1980’s it’s been written that she collapsed due to nervous exhaustion in the midst of one of her songs.
So she has been felled and needed to recuperate and recover to continue on.
@@dddddadadad1796yeah I read about that one in the 60’s. Her head was on Florence Ballards lap in the dressing room. And Berry wasn’t taking it seriously over the phone, and Flo was basically cussing Berry out over the phone about it. Then they took her to the hospital. Flo went to go visit her and they cried with each other.
OMG!!! This is such a treasure, I feel like I just found a pot of gold. She is and will always be the most magical performer that I have ever seen. And in this interview she says she performs because she loves it not for the money, but maybe little bit for the money. But if you've seen her live you get it, it's not like perfomers today they have no passion for what they do at all. I feel like she could teach a class in just stage prescense alone. This is legend!!!
There will never ever be another Diana Ross. Such a one of a kind. My goodness. I'm so, so, so fortunate to have grown up during 1977. I remember being so fascinated by her at such a young age.
This is nice you really get to see what she thinks.
Thanks for posting this footage.:)
Damn...she said she hasn't spoken to Marvin Gaye much because they can't find him. Marvin was going through so much personally, internally.
I recall him saying on TV that he was facing depression.
Oh my god thank you so much!!!! Amazing! She's such a wonderful person.
You really are my twin LOL
LOL Glam!!! We see each other everywhere on here! But Isn't she beautiful? Oh my god the close ups made me melt. And I love what she said "I sorta think of myself like a black book of some kind". Hopefully one of these days people will finally stop saying she hated being black. She loves being black! And she paved the way for us after Josephine Baker. She got us Radio play and also allowed black entertainers to cross over into the Movie industry. Diana Ross is the ultimate Queen.
Mahogany Jackson IKR that's our love for Diana for sure.
and OMG the close up made me melt too, did you see how beautiful her hands are ? with those beautiful red nails and that ring, BEAUTIFUL.
I didn't know that some people think she hated being black!!! this is so stupid and ridiculous!
did they even read her book ? She sure loves being black, one of things that shows how proud she is of being black (In my opinion) is her hair, she loved the natural looking hair, she wear wigs like her natural hair and sometimes she go out without even any wig.
Are you two related? LOL
Kat No! but why you saying that?
Diana was the original cross over pop/r&b African-American diva. Glamour, beauty, talent, style, poise!! She loved the superstar life and courted the media because she adored her fame. Sadly Whitney Houston, considered Diana’s successor in the 1980’s as the next big crossover star with same attributes as Diana, did not like the fame, and I think felt trapped by it. She loved singing and performing but didn’t have the same love affair with being a superstar like Diana did.
Wow! What a treat! Thank you for posting.
She's so happy all the time, always smiling.
She was very happy in those days, THEN came the period after 2000 ..... all hell came loose! Read your history.
@@pianoman551000 and? That was a moment in time. Miss Ross recovered very well and is very joy filled, thankful, grateful, and filled with love.
Loooovvvvee!! This is so SPECIAL!! Miss Ross: I have been listening to you since 1965!! Could you please be a sweetheart and leave THAT ring to me when downsizing?!!!! 😁😁😁
what amazing true to life footage..some people are truly blessed to be at the right place and have no fear of being asked to stop filming..or was it done secretly ?miss ross can be so wonderful when she is in a good mood
She was never my favorite Supreme, MARY was FINE*
Yet you’re here watching MISS ROSS? Make it make sense
